Eddie Redmayne joined Amanda Seyfried on the red carpet this evening in London’s Leicester Square for the world premiere of ‘Les Miserables’.
It will come as no surprise to you to see that he is wearing his favourite brand, Burberry.
Looking savvy in a teal velvet suit with a skinny-fit, notched-lapel jacket with matching pants from the British label’s Fall 2012 collection, he added a white shirt and grey tie.
Brown Oxford lace-ups completed his look.

I don’t like the velvet or his choice if grey tie or brown shoes with the teal suit. Thumbs down from me.
He looks great. Love the velvet.
+1 – made velvet work. Kudos!
Hate the shoes. Don’t particularly like the suit. Not a brilliant outfit.
Teal is a beautiful colour but I don’t think I have it in me to appreciate a velvet suit -shudders-
The shoes are wrong too.
I love both the colour and the velvet. They’re very festive and appropriate for a chilly night in London.
Also, he was adorable in the interview, so that’s another plus.
Velvet suits *-*
way too yummy! can’t focus on what he is wearing- drooling
Totally agree!
I love it!!
John Krasinski is Mr. Prada [until lately]
Robert Pattinson is Mr. Gucci with stiff competition from Gorgeous Gosling
Professor Green is Mr. Givenchy [sorry Kanye]
Chris Pine is Mr. Lauren
Eddie Redmayne is rightly Mr. Burberry. His look as a person and on the red carpet is quintessentially British.
Did I miss any Mr.s?
I’m not the biggest fan of velvet, but this look is not bad.
Mmmm, mmmm, good. And I ain’t talking Campbell’s soup here, hon. Love.
A claret tie would have been great with this suit and the brown. But it looks good and season appropriate given the cold weather.
BDOTW
Would have chosen a burgundy tie, rather like TeaAtTwo said. But other than that I LOVE this! As Odette said, he’s perfect for Burberry. BDMOTW!!!
Not really feeling the velvet here.
On this occasion I am not liking the velvet. This isn’t a great look IMO.
Attractive man. Wish I could say the same for that (ghastly) suit.
I love velvet suits, but I’m not a fan of brow shoes, in general. But he looks cute and elegant. Burberry is a great brand for men.
nice suit, hate his shoes, the model’s ones are way better
