Dianna Agron attended the 2012 Ripple Of Hope Gala at The New York Marriott Marquis in New York City yesterday evening.
The ‘Glee’ actress wore a Dolce & Gabbana black frock with a fitted satin embroidered bodice and a floaty chiffon skirt.
She styled her look with a black satin Christian Louboutin ‘Alialo’ pleated satin clutch and baroque-inspired Christian Louboutin ‘Indies’ black pumps with an ornate shape accentuated by mesh insets and gold trims, but it’s the headband which ruins this look for me.
Sporting new bangs, Dianna opted to style her new do with a Dolce & Gabbana gold filigree velvet headband, which is also accented with white roses.
That deep berry lip is divine, but I just can’t get past the headband.
Does the headband work for you?

if she was a disney princess the headband would work, but alas she isnt so it just looks ridiculous. the shoes though i am lusting over those like crazy!
Your comment made me LOL
I agree with you tough about the ridiculousness of the headband
I think it’s cute, if I had the money I’d buy it. Ohh the perk of being famous and rich.
I know! The shoes are divine.
This whole outfit aged her! Not a good look Dianna. Time to fire your stylist.
She looks old in this getup.
it feels like Diana is playing dress up here. And to be honest – it feels like a joke to me.
Black lace dress is mature + the head piece is whimsical + bangs make her look childish = hot mess
+ 1.
I think she is divine!!!!
I like the entire look!

I rarely get Dianna’s style and this just proves it. She’s mixing an aging dress with a too young hairstyle and the headband is horrible with this look.
And the pose isn’t helping at all. She looks like one of the ladies who lunch. My grandmother did that pose in the 1980′s!
I find the pumps more costumey than the headband. So if I could only ditch one of the two, it would be the shoes.
me too, I feel they belong to Marie Antoniette
I agree, the shoes bother me more than the headband.
I think that the bangs are the problem, not the headband.
Very pretty girl but she never gets it right for me.
I dont mind the quirky headband. I think she’s just having fun with fashion.
No, the headbands are not good. I don’t usually like anything from Dolce and Gabanna, too flowery and fussy for me, and this is no exception. Maybe without the headband, the dress strapless, and a less fussy shoe in a bright colour could make this look good.
Everything about this outfit makes her look like a woodland creature – and not in a good way.
I never like black she looks very sultry here, not quite sure either about the head band but i like the over look
I like everything except her bangs or headband, though I’m not sure which is the culprit..
Her eyes are lovely. That’s all that I like.
dianna is a pretty girl and all, but i just don’t believe her fashion choices. it seems very insincere and fake to me.. like she is constantly playing a role when she where clothes on the red carpet or on the street.

plz plz plz throw away this hairband and this clutch… else everything is perfect
No, it all seems very fussy, too many little details.
IF ONLY she had styled this with a sleek, shoulder-length, side-parted bob. THEN this would be fab. The Disney hairstyle is quite awful with this.
Those shoes, though? Amazing.
Love the lip colour and the dress is cute but I don’t like the shoes or the headband.
matronly, that’s my first impression, hate the shoes
As Beta already said I feel they belong to Marie Antoniette.
I can’t quite put my finger on what I hate most about this look. It should work in theory, but somehow it just doesn’t translate on Dianna. The headband/bangs are childish, and the top half of the dress with the bows as straps reminds me of smocked tops young girls wear. Then we have the bodice and shoes, which are very matronly. I don’t mind the headband as much, I think it looks very pretty, but it just does’t work here.
The delicateness of those pumps make her legs unfortunately chunky. The dress is too tight and if not flattering past her waist at all. Unlike everyone else though, I love the headband and her lip color is gorgeous.
The headband is the only thing I like here.
Had she pinned her bangs up under that headband and maybe chose different lipstick, I would say she looks divine. But this way? A no from me.
