Diane Kruger was back out on the red carpet again last night, attending the Museum of Modern Art’s Film Benefit honouring Quentin Tarantino at MOMA in New York City.
The actress wore one of her favourite designers – Prabal Gurung.
Her Spring 2013 chiffon evening gown features a two-tone sporty crisscross neckline and all-over delicate tiered ruffle detail for an ultra-feminine look.
Diane wore a wider version of the runway white leather belt, featuring a mirrored plate which adds an edges.
Beauty-wise, the fresh-faced star opted for neutral makeup and tumbling blonde waves.
The finishing touches were provided via her Brian Atwood blush satin ‘Karin’ sandals, Crow’s Nest Fine jewelry and a Charlotte Olympia ‘Domino Pandora’ clutch, which we’ve also seen in black carried by Rachel Weisz.
I love that Diane has given us two totally different BDOTW-worthy looks this week and it’s only Tuesday. The Prabal gown is my favourite of the two.

Love this! She is finally back to her best. I don’t think that the Altuzarra look is BDOTW worthy but this is totally worthy.
wasnt fussed by this look at all on the runway, but on diane WOW.
Sorry but I hate this. Too many ruffle, not liking the sheer skirt. I’ve found pretty much all of Diane’s latest outfits quite underwhelming.
Totally agree with you. This look is cheap and tacky.
Me too! I wasn’t a fan to begin with but this is not good. I don’t get the dress at all!
I prefer this over the “sexy secretary” look but not thrilled with the styling. Love that clutch but the vanilla color with the bright white accents of the dress doesn’t work for me. Wish her hair were slicked back and out of the way of the details at neck and shoulder.
I didn’t like her previous “sexy secretary” look, it wasn’t a bdotw worthy material at all in my book. I also prefer this look although the clutch and her loose hair interfering with the neckline and competing with the busy ruffled detailing on the dress bother me too.
You make some really good points. I wasn’t sure what was throwing me off so much (other than the hair distracting me) and it’s definitely the clutch. I can try to mentally block it out and it looks so much better without it.
Indeed BDOTW worthy – quite chic and fashion forward – especially she manages to look not very dressed up while wearing an evening dress – with all the sequins, the chiffon and ballgowns we’ve been seeing on the red carpet lately everyone seems to be Oscar ready for even the simplest of events – this look is quite balanced in that it is an evening dress but she does not look too fussy in it – well done
She looks lovely.
Prabal Gurung is one of my favorite designers, but I HATED his Spring 2013 collection because it was a Fall collection and the pieces were rather dark and limp and not flattering at all.
I’m not that impressed by this. The dress color doesn’t really do anything for her and the cream clutch clashes with the stark white belt and halter. Her hair and makeup are great though. Maybe a B- overall.
Not BDOTW worthy here but she looks good.
Hopefully this means she has her fashion mojo back. She looks flawless!
The dress is totally stunning, i love it!
Great look, I love HTT. And those closeup of her face! she soo beautiful!
This is the Diane we love, at its best
not BDOTW worthy
Definitely not BDOTW. It’s over-styled and overwhelming.
I love Prabal and I love Diane … but this is just too many ruffles.
nice dress but the sheer thing is unnecessary
I don’t like this gown but as always Diane makes everything work.
Would love it sans sheer skirt. Other than that, very pretty and definitely an improvement. The clutch is adorable–and again, it’s been featured in FC’s favorites! Celebs are taking notes.
i don’t like the dress to begin with. too much ruffle for my liking. agree with the others on their comments about her hair. its covering the details on the neck and shoulder.
I do like this dress more than the Altuzarra. I think she looks very beautiful and the more I see it the more I love this look but I really don’t like the clutch. Had it been in black it would have worked well but the colour doesn’t work.
