Taylor Swift hit the red carpet at the 2012 KIIS FM Jingle Ball held at Nokia Theatre’s L.A. Live on Saturday afternoon before taking to the stage to perform her latest hits, ‘I Knew You Were Trouble’ and ‘Red’.
The singer wore a very Taylor-esqe cutesy look in this Kate Spade New York dress.
Her black-and-ivory striped satin sleeveless dress featuring a fitted bodice and a flared skirt was styled with simple black Christian Louboutin platform pumps.
Bringing her signature red pout back, Taylor completed her look with curly side-swept locks.

I think this is one of those rare occasions where black pumps actually work. Even though I would add a pair of red pumps, I find Taylor’s shoes working well with the concept of the dress.

Seeing as this is a performance event (and she had a separate outfit for performing anyway), not even an award show or premiere, I think she can be forgiven for not bringing too much pizzaz.

I agree with Jones19. I am getting sick of Taylor Swift, even though I am a Swifty, so this is depressing. She is on every single talk, radio show and performing at every single awards show and it is all redundant. How many times can she talk about her cat Meredith?
I don’t see why she is doing such a big promo tour when her expected sales were easily met and would be satisfying for any artist.
I was sick of Beyonce in 2008, Fergie in 2009 and now Swift in 2012. Overexposure is the root.
But I like this look. I’ve accepted (I think) that Taylor Swift is stylish but not fashionable or fashion-forward. She is the Kate Middleton of the pop world.
