After a wild week on her ‘777’ tour, where she mostly wore menswear, Rihanna switched back to opting for a more feminine look for the launch of her latest fragrance, ‘Nude’, held at Macy’s in Westfield Century City in California on Saturday afternoon.
The singer selected an ivory-and-white Nini Nguyen dress.
Her dress features a bustier top with a part-crepe, part-lace skirt worn over hot pants.
This is most definitely a look very few could pull off, so thankfully it was picked up by Rihanna.
A gold vintage Christian Lacroix choker and black Tom Ford python pumps accessorized her look.
I love the soft wavy tresses and neutral makeup. While we all know Rihanna is a bad ass chick, it’s great to see her softer side on this occasion.

this is lovely!
The dress is lovely but everything else is bad.
The choker is dreadful, the black pumps are a bad match and even though it’s a neutral palette, her makeup is oddly harsh.
She tried to toughen up the dress when she should not have imo.
So awful. I can’t bear it.
If she had changed the shoes and lost that choker I might have given this a pass.
Nope.
The dress and makeup say Independent Spirit Awards/ Taylor Swift while the hair, shoes and choker scream 80s rockstar. Me no likey.
Well said
I don’t like the way the top fits her girls and the shoes and necklace don’t work together. This is not good.
the dress is average but I’m blown away by her makeup
I usually hate the sheer skirt look, but it works on her. I think she looks great.
Slightly reminds me of Marilyn Monroe

It works on her. She looks gorgeous! I even like the addition of the choker-only she can pull of this look. A talent!
Ugghhh! The dress so so; the shoes no no; the hair no no no. The tatoos horrible.
The dress is tacky and looks cheap, like a prom dress. The accessories are nonsense. But I’m not surprised, considering her (non)taste.
Black pump, really?
I like it when she switches things up a little bit and wears more feminine looks. The dress is great and I like the addition of the choker, but the black pumps are boring when gold sandals or pumps are the obvious choice here.
+1
the make-up is flawless enhancing her pretty face and she could pull off the dress but I don’t like the cheesy hair, black shoes or out-of place choker.
The styling is just bad. Big thumbs down from me.
for me this would have been the perfect outfit if it wasnt for those shoes..
great from the choker up. The shoes with the length of the dress is just several servings of unfortunate.
1) Line the skirt
2) ditch the choker
3) NO TO BLACK SHOES WITH A WHITE DRESS
4) OK, now you look good.
P.S. Lovely hair and makeup
Her hair and makeup is nice and the dress is ok. I can’t decide on the choker but the shoes are definitely atrocious!
Hair and makeup are the only good things here. From the design to the length, the dress is bizarre. The choker is ridiculous and the shoes are hideous. N
