Anna Kendrick In Georges Chakra Couture – ‘Trevor Live’ Event

Anna Kendrick opted for a tried and tested ethereal pretty look on the red carpet for The Trevor Project’s ‘Trevor Live’ event honouring singer Katy Perry at the Hollywood Palladium in LA on Sunday evening.

The actress wore a Georges Chakra Spring 2012 Couture frock.

Her short blue tulle-and-lace cocktail dress, styled with silver accessories, is a sweet look for Anna but one I feel like I’ve seen from her many times before, even though it’s not in her favoured nude/blush colour palette.

A Swarovski metallic python ‘Nirvana Star’ box clutch, nude lips and a side- updo completed her look.

Déjà vu or does it feel fresh and new?

very pretty but total deja vu and that makes it a bit snoozeville

Love everything about this look but the too-low neckline. Her hairstyle, shoes, and clutch are especially adorable.

It doesn’t feel fresh and new, but she looks gorgeous. It’s a beautiful dress and it looks better on her than on the model. I also love her updo.

She wears the same dress every time LOL. Dejavu

Wish she can wear something perhaps, a bit new? Nothing wrong with staying with the same fabrics you’re comfortable with but sometimes it’s nice to switch it up once in awhile.

So what if she sticks with girly girl looks all the time? She switches up designers, cuts and colors so it’s fine and she always looks event appropriate, age appropriate and polished.

Deja vu, but pretty. Love her shoes.

Gorgeous dress and earrings, and her hair is lovely but I don’t like the shoes and clutch with the dress. She looks good but same as always.

I really like this on her. While Iaggree that it is slightly repetitive, it is a new colour, and she does wear different styles from time to time (unlike Taylor Swift or Jennifer Aiston for example). The colour is so, so beautiful on her, as is the silhouette and her hair and especcially the parting are such an improvement. The stylign is a little blah, though.

This looks like an Elie Saab dress. Anyway, she looks nice but it’s been done before.

    Déjà vu to the fullest!
Those pastel colours she goes for wash her out.

so totally déjà vu… Anna’s looks are becoming very depressing.

  14. Emmeline December 3, 2012 at 12:53 #

The dress is beautiful, but I agree that this look is repetitive.

I like it but not with these shoes!

She doesn’t step out of her comfort box very often does she. She’s gorgeous and so is the dress but I’m completely underwhelmed.

the only thing i like about the whole look is the clutch. but that’s about it!
