Kate Bosworth In Emilio Pucci – Target + Neiman Marcus Holiday Collection Launch Event

Kate Bosworth attended the Target + Neiman Marcus Holiday Collection launch event last night in New York City.

The actress wore a chic Emilio Pucci Fall 2012 dress.

Her white satin sleeveless peplum dress with a sheer bodice was styled with dark accessories, much to my disliking.

Her black Proenza Schouler toe-cap heels and a Prabal Gurung for the Target + Neiman Marcus Holiday 24 Collection clutch don’t work for me. I wish she’d opted for something more adventurous.

Sleek, straight golden locks and a pink lip colour provided the finishing touches.

This entire event was terrible. (There are a few exceptions)

btw is there something off with her face??

None of these styles of Pucci dress (Cheryl Cole and Kylie Minogue have worn something similar) have worked for me. They look so messy and overwrought. Also, Kate’s styling is very uninspiring.

This could have been better with the right accessories.

Nothing would save this train wreck. The fit seems off across the bust — the sheer bodice is stretched too tight. And it isn’t lying right at the waist/tummy area. It is pouffing out and puckering. This fabric is unforgiving. And the styling is B.O.R.I.N.G. Ugh.

Not a good look. I like this dress better in Green (Scarjo I believe wore a better version of this dress)

i don’t understand how kate gets invited to these events when she hasn’t done any movies or tv shows in 7 years

Couldn’t agree more – she is a totally never-been-has-been (if that’s possible!) and so now she’s trying to carve out a ‘career’ as a style icon – ohmigosh what a joke! She’s rubbish at acting and rubbish at styling and should really disappear – yuk outfit job Bosho.

Her black accessories aren’t my only problem. The dress is so shiny and together with that sheer bodice it looks like a cheap dress to me.

An elegant look on the model. All wrong on Kate.

…looks fine to me? The dress and styling are event appropriate.
