Portia Freeman took to the red carpet at the Savoy Hotel in London for the 2012 British Fashion Awards.
The model wore a Nicholas Oakwell Couture gown for the occasion.
Her bronze-and-black long-sleeve gown is a beaded version of the nude gown which took to the runway during the designer’s Fall 2012 Couture collection.
A textured clutch with the same pattern as her dress and Nicholas Kirkwood for Nicholas Oakwell sandals accessorized her look.
This is a sexy, cool look for the statuesque beauty.

I find this look very unattractive on such a sexy woman. Though I like the colour palette,it almost looks dowdy in the dark. The beads add shimmer, but I would have preferred something more outstanding at a Fashion Award show.
The bronze-and-black version of the gown feels so heavy and gloomy, it almost drags her down/overwhelms her. Not a fan of her very unnaturally-looking overly blonde hair.
I like the colors of her dress better than the runway. She looks great.
Me too.
I don’t think that the gown is perfectly fitted on her and I don’t like her hair.
I dislike the color of her dress……..I would have preferred the runway color but I guess with her bleached blonde hair that would have been terrible….. she just looks OK to me
I kind of like the moody darkness of the bronze/black version against the platinum blond hair. I think it would’ve been better if it had been a tad more fitted though.
Dark and boring. Love the runway version.
This dress looks too big for her. It overwhelms her. She is drowning in dress. Not a fan.
+1
I usually like Oakwell’s vintagey looks but this is kind of hideous, imo like a ’70s carpet…also her hair looks very fake.
I much prefer it on the runway. I don’t like the color or the sheen on Freeman’s version and together, they really sort of depress me.
Not liking anything about this look.
I love his work! .. Jadore Nicholas Oakwell
I’m inclined to like the runway version, but there is just one big mess on the right: the brown and black (and blonde!), the fabric… sorry, “no” for me.
