Mia Moretti was working the decks at the UNICEF Snowflake Ball held at Cipriani 42nd Street in New York City yesterday evening following her ethereal glide down the red carpet.
The DJ wore a Blumarine Spring 2013 gown.
Her multi-coloured frock with a pleated bodice, printed panel and ombre train is a gorgeous look for Mia, who often mixes up her looks, going from edgy to effortless gowns like this.
She styled her look with black Nicholas Kirkwood for Prabal Gurung pumps and an Edie Parker clutch.
A braided top-knot and Mikimoto earrings completed her look.

Lovely flowing gown, very light and refreshing, but I don’t like it on her – would’ve liked to see it on someone with more stature and better posture who could deliver a leaner silhouette. The braided ‘do isn’t working for her either, she looks rather silly with it, and would’ve preffered a sandal in amore complementary colour instead of plain blck.
+1
+2, I agree completely, nothing is working in this look.
the deep v-neck showing nothing but the breast plate is not working for her, she looks manish.
that dress is beautiful – wanting it badly. the only problem I have is indeed the braided hair; specifically the dark roots and the light braid!
Just another of my favorite dresses from the spring 2013 collections not given justice. I’m starting to get bitter.
My least favourite of this event.
A no from me.
The hair looks like a pastry and the dress looks 10x too large on her…the watercolor pattern is lovely but it’s SO overwhelming (and too lownecked)
Just…ugh.
It’s a beautiful gown. I think it needs a taller figure (or Christina Ricci) to really do it justice.
It looks wonderful on the model but on Mia it falls flat and the black shoes were a wrong choice.
