Cara Delevingne took home the prize for ‘Model of the Year’ at the 2012 British Fashion Awards held at the Savoy Hotel in London yesterday evening.
I told her I wasn’t surprised as it seemed like she was on every runway during fashion month. When I asked her how many shows she’d walked she told me 31, which is pretty amazing.
Dressed in a futuristic Burberry Prorsum Spring 2013 lime-green mini dress, the model also wore metallic silver python wedges from the same collection.
With her just-got-out-of-bed tresses and signature teenage brow, the model completed her look with cat-eyes and nude lips.

How to Achieve the Classic Blowout

Im happy for her, she has a very interesting look
Lara Stone in 2010, Stella Tennant in 2011.. lol.
She looks nice.
to me she is just a pair of walking eyebrows-so sad that Joan smalls did not win-she is stunning.
Sorry meant Jordan Dunn
this reminds me i must pick up a tin of quality street for my aunt for christmas. the dress looks cheap.
She is so striking! I must admit that I have not been a fan of the dark eyebrow with blonde hair look. Other than that I adore this look, she is so effortless!
I think she looks gorgeous! The all-metallic look is really cool.
This dress could have looked so cheap, but I think she makes it look cool. It’s young and it’s fun.
Loooove this!
I kinda like i and then I kinda don’t. On the fence…
I don’t get the winners of this awards, they’re all clones to me, they sll look the same, no unique attributes…I will say, she does look like Barbara Palvin though.
I think the usually pick British models to win model of the year so maybe that’s why Joan Smalls didn’t win. I like Cara she seems like a cool fun girl just enjoying life the dress is cool.
Sorry meant Jordan Dunn- knew first name began with a J who is British and stunning
I find it almost impossible to look past those eyebrows as they are so overpowering, wish the dress was a little bit longer.
Those eyebrows are just silly. And when you say “teenage brow” you must mean they looks like a teenage girl who doesn’t know how to apply makeup did them
I don’t love it, but she looks OK.
I’m not crazy about the dress itself but she rocks it so well to make it interesting and fun, the cool shoes were a great match.
She’s very beautiful, the color looks great on her and I like her natural styling with the futuristic look. I do wish the dress was longer, though. The shoes are cool. Congrats to her.
What an interesting look! She dress has a very futuristic look due to the luster of the fabric, and those python wedges add to the mood. I am overjoyed at how this event went.
She has such a memorable face – striking enough for a runway model but also commercially appealing for editorials. Her face instantly caught my eyes and prompted the “who’s that girl?” question the first time I saw her in a Burberry ad along with Eddie Redmayne. The look is a blah, however.
