Allison Williams was pretty in pink on the red carpet at the 2012 Gotham Independent Film Awards held at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City last night.
She wore a heavenly Valentino Spring 2012 gown.
Her powder-pink multi-layered tulle gown with puffed long sleeves and embroidered with neon-pink-and-black contrast lace is so very romantic.
Keeping the styling very simple, the actress wore black strappy sandals and silver jewels.
With that high neckline I wish she had worn her hair up.
You may remember that Alessandra Mastronardi wore this same gown back in April.

I like Allison’s presentation better. Perhaps, it’s her loose pretty hair that actually saves this look from being too “little house on the prairie” (that’s what Alessandra’s braided updo did) but I do prefer the silver belt with this gown.
I also love the dress more on allison, the hair makes it feel more ethereal imo.
I would like her to wear one of the navy pieces from the Spring 2013 collection, as that collection would suit her better, as it is more classic.
She is very pretty but I am not a fan of this dress. It is like a granny dress from the 70′s.
I love it. I think she looks more elegant with her hair down. If she’d worn it like the runway model the sleeves make it look a little like sister wife chic.
Love the sister wife chic reference! So funny!!
the black lace detail bothers me
I prefer her styling, with her hair down. I think she looks great.
I’m in love with that dress..thecolors, the lace, oh so beautiful!
Alessandra wore it better, because though Allison’s hair is lovely, I like this dress better with an updo. Also, the skirt and underlay look cheap here. Maybe its the lighting. Not sold on the black detail…overall nice but I prefer the first run.
Me too. Much better with an updo but she looks nice here.
+1. Liked the look more on Alessandra.
I know i’m in the minority here and I can’t believe I am saying this about a Valentino dress…. but the dress looks cheap to me
something about her heels bother me or maybe it’s the color of her toenails it clashes with the dress too much.
She looks nice and well put together but I don’t really like the dress.
