Mavis Fan dressed up for the 49th Annual Golden Horse Awards, held at the Cultural Working House in Ilan, Taiwan on Saturday evening.
Even in this Costume National Fall 2012 strapless gown, she still maintains an edge.
The black frock with asymmetrical cuts and a PVC part-peplum was styled with a gold studded clutch, large cocktail ring, silver diamond necklace and a hot flash of red on her lips.
Sexy, edgy, cool.

I don’t like tattoos but with the dark, cool look she’s got going on it’s fine here. overall I think the look works.
It seems she was trying a bit too hard to distance herself from her “doll-faced good girl” persona, which made her a star in the 90s. Her face is still sweet, a mismatch with that tattoo. But she pulled off the dress, even tho it’s hard to do on her small, short frame.
Nothing works here. She is beautiful but that incredibly tacky tattoo, the odd and yet boring dress…it’s all wrong.
I love this look! It just works…
Beautiful makeup, tattoo is distracting, dislike the gown.
+1
I know it can’t be removed for one night, but her tattoo ruins this look for me. I would have loved everything about this look but I can’t overlook the tattoo.
There is something between the excessive jewelry, the tattoo and the red lips/nails that isn’t working for me. Can’t quite say what exactly.
