Toni Collette really stood out on the red carpet at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences Samuel Goldwyn Theater in Beverly Hills, California for the ‘Hitchcock’ LA premiere.
Firstly because she looked divine wearing an Alex Perry Pre-Fall 2013 dress; secondly because of the colour.
She was determined not to fade into the background this time around.
Toni’s amazing one-shoulder fitted dress, which features the Australian designer’s signature corsetry, was let down by some meh styling.
Nude accessories including a snakeskin clutch and Jerome C. Rousseau ‘Kier’ nude patent d’orsay peep toes wouldn’t have been my first choice for her red dress. I think sticking to classic black or gold would’ve worked better for her.
Also, three gold cuffs seems a bit excessive; one, or two at a push, would’ve sufficed.
I can’t fault her hair or makeup though. She looked radiant and was easily my best dressed of the night.

Wow.
I really like this look. The dress is so dramatic in shape and colour that anything but nude accessories would weigh the look down in my opinion. The number of bracelets doesn’t bother me but I do wish that the bracelets weren’t so incredibly different without something to unify them, such as all being matte or shiny, etc.
she looks beutiful!!!the best she’s ever looked!
Stunning!!! Best she’s ever looked. LOVE this dress, the structure, the vivid color, it’s amazing. Weird how she’s totally bleached out her eyebrows, but I guess it works as she looks fabulous. I actually love the nude shoes and accessories. Soooo happy she didn’t go with the obligatory clunky black pump. A+
i disagree actually… i find Jessica Biel stood out the most. The styling for this outfit is really truly awful.
I like the red dress.
Stunning, except for those truly ugly shoes. I like the nude clutch with the dress, but the shoes are a big problem. But the dress, hair and makeup are all spectacular.
Agree with everything.
Wow she looks amazing i didn’t recognise her at all!!what a beautiful colour dress
never thought i would describe toni as a bombshell
just wow
Would like it but for the hair, which is flat. Everything else=great!
Wow, I almost didn’t recognise her! NOt so wild about the hair but overall she looks fab!
