Dakota Fanning joined Ashley Greene on the red carpet last night for the New York screening of ‘The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2’.
The actress wore a Valentino Spring 2012 midnight-blue gown with an A-line silhouette.
Her gown with a camisole-style bodice featuring open lattice details throughout was styled with a transparent Valentino minaudière with stud hardware and a gold Graziela ring.
I only like this look from the neck down.
Her makeup is too heavy and her just-got-out-of-bed hair doesn’t work for me either.

That hair and that make up….its a little “crazy cat lady” for me . I do like the dress though
The hair and make-up is terrible and the gown is ill fitted. I loved it on the runway but it kinda looks like a cheap dress on Dakota.
+1 the fit is terrible.
I love Dakota, but she looks like she had just escaped rehab. It looks like no time was put into her hair and make-up.
That’s a vampirish look neck up!
She stole Kirsten’s hairdo too
Neck down, I like the dress!
I only like the clutch everything else is a miss.
I see she taking the hair improvement too far. LOL.
Bed hair on the RC is a no.
The dress is ok.
I like the hair and make up in here, to honest this is the first time I find Dakota looking interesting.
+1
absolutely beautiful on the model, on dakota it is another snoozefest.
I think she looks really pretty, she’s finally doing something different with her hair and makeup. The only problem is that the components don’t work together well. For such a dress, the hair and makeup should have been different. But I am most pleased with her face anyway, the dress doesn’t look too impressive, at least not with the styling. I think she’s a bit too short to pull of the statuesque nature of the dress. The Valentino clutch is STUNNING though!
+1
yes, j’adore the clutch!!
I agree, she looks good only from the neck down. The makeup is heavy and doesn’t complement the gorgeous navy hue of the dress. And that hair has got to be among the top 5 worst red carpet hairstyles ever.
Ashley Greene donated a navy blue gown as well and she looked amazing. Dakota’s stylist should probably take note.
Beautiful dress, but the hair and makeup just aren’t working.
“Her makeup is too heavy and her just-got-out-of-bed hair doesn’t work for me either.”
amen sister
I actually like the hair and makeup, she’s going for a vampy vibe which is different for her.
The only thing I don’t like of this look is the uncombed hair. The dress is beautiful and I like the make up. I love vampy/gothic look, I can’t help!
No on the hair, yes on the makeup and dress. Dakota’s naturally pretty, though, so she doesn’t need all the makeup.
No to all of it. messy hair, too pale makeup, and cheap looking dress.
