Sarah Jessica Parker hosted the ‘Electric Holiday’ window unveiling at Barneys New York in New York City yesterday evening.
The actress wore a classic L’Wren Scott black headmistress dress with caviar beaded embroidery around the neckline and cuffs.
To add a fun quirk to her look as she was hosting the event with Minnie Mouse, SJP also wore lace ears with matching veil, which was custom made by L’Wren Scott.
L’Wren Scott bespoke diamond earrings and black Manolo Blahnik pumps accessorized her look, with loose wavy tresses providing the finishing touches.

Happy anniversary…may you have many, many more

Love the hair, the make up, and the ENTIRE look! This is so chic and event appropriate. The mouse ears are so chic. BDOTW
I agree with you, the mouse ears and the veil are very chic!
All black works sometimes but I am not sure on this occasion with the veil.
+1
I like the dress and shoes but the MM ears look ridiculous.
wish she opted for something colourful. i just want to hack off a few inches of her hair, its just so big.
i like the minnie mouse ears, they add a fun element to an otherwise boring black dress.
I thought she was crazy until I saw that Disney logo on the background behind her, and then everything made sense. In that context, I think the ears are fun. It’s nice when a celebrity steps outside the box a little and isn’t afraid to do something different.
Boring. And the ears are ridiculous. It’s as if she added clown shoes to a widow’s dress.
I am so envious of her hair! It is beautiful as is this lovely outfit.
I like the ears for this fun Disney event.
What I don’t like is the veil, which, combined with the monochromatic black, gives her a funereal appearance.
boring… even with the minnie mouse ears.
I thought Halloween was over.
Queen SJP looks perfect, as always!
BDOTW, for sure
At first I wasn’t sure what on Earth was going on with her headpiece but considering this was an event with Minnie I think it is cute. I like this classic look but I do wish she had her hair tied back so we could see the detail on the neckline. Nothing overly fantastic but it is a good look.
I get the cutesy reference, appropriate for the event, but with all the other fab fashion we’ve been seeing this week this is very flat.
