Jaime King attended the 2012 GQ Men of the Year party, held at the Chateau Marmont in LA last night.
The ‘Hart of Dixie’ actress wore an Oscar de la Renta Resort 2013 frock.
The long-sleeve dress, with intricate black guipure lace bodice enriched with black sequins, features a tulle and organza skirt accented with a cobalt-blue belt.
Usually I’m a huge fan of Jaime’s style, but this dress doesn’t work for her: between the high neckline, the fussy skirt, and ghostly makeup Jaime is not shining through.
Jaime accessorized her look with black lace pumps and a satin black clutch, with smoky eyes, a centre-parted low bun, onyx earrings and a pink lip colour providing the finishing touches.

Too much going on, even though the look is supposed to be focused and classic.
Not working for her.
Yet another post where I will just post my opinion, without reading anyone else’s since I don’t wanna be “influenced”… lol! I LOVE this look!!! I mean it has to be one of the most exciting looks of the year for me. I LOVE her makeup… her earrings may have been a tad much, but the overall effect for me is beyond stunning!
I think the earrings are unnecessary and the shoes are boring, but I don’t totally dislike this look.
Odd and laboured, I can’t find Jamie in this look either, this isn’t working well for her, I agree.
It’s a actually a Resort 2013 runway look
ok thanks
I think this might have worked if everything above the neck was different. Hair and makeup are so awful that it is difficult to evaluate the clothing. This is a sort of big accomplishment, I believe, because it can’t be easy to make Jaime King look bad.
I don’t hate it but there’s not much to love here either.
Wow, this ghostly makeup looks really scary
The earrings are all wrong. The hair is good, with a collar like this she was right to put her hair up. The makeup is too heavy and all wrong. If she had toned down the makeup and replaced the earrings with something simple, a diamond or jet stud perhaps, this look would have been much better.
agree with comments, earrings aren’t needed.
and her hair colour looks really fake here…
The makeup is too heavy.
I don’t mind the dress too much but her hair, makeup and earrings don’t work at all.
She looks like Lindsay Lohan here….
Mad men, is the first thing that pops into my mind when I see this look as it has real 1960s vibe going on.
Too much of everything. The top is hideous and the skirt isn’t far behind. Eyesore.
