Diane Kruger arrived on the red carpet without boyfriend Joshua Jackson for the 2012 GQ Men of the Year party, held at the Chateau Marmont in LA last night.
We don’t usually see Diane show so much skin, but at this type of event it’s pretty much expected.
The German actress wore a Cushnie et Ochs Spring 2013 dress.
Her white sleeveless floor-length silk crepe dress features a cropped tank overlay, braided strappy detail at the bodice, an open waist and a central slit.
I love the black Vanessa Bruno blazer nonchalantly draped over her shoulders.
Accessories included a gold Jason Wu clutch and black Jimmy Choo ‘Louisa’ criss-cross sandals.
Kohl-rimmed eyes, a hot red lip colour and a simple updo completed her look.
The overlay on her dress needed a lot of adjustment, which may have prevented her looking like she was smuggling raisins under her top.
I’m not as wowed as I usually am when it comes to Diane. This look is just OK for me.

The top is very, very ill-fitting, I don´t like the black and white on this occasion… nothing is working for me.

i don’t actually understand what is going on with this look. the dress itself is SO hard to pull off on any human being apart from the model… and it looks ALL wrong and unflattering on her Diane. the hair is kinda messy, that blazer is random, and those criss-cross shoes make this overall look very cheap.

It’s so nice to see her back on the red carpet, but I’m really not loving this look. The top half of that dress is just kind of a mess.
Quite an unusual look. Love how her bright lips pop against the white but i wish the skirt was a bit less flimsy.

I love Diane, I really do, bu tthis look is hideous in every possible way. The hair is bad, the lips are bad, the dress is horrificly bad, the fit is tragic, the jacket is just making it worse, the shoes are making it worse, the pose is making it worse. I don’t even like the bag.
Agree. Aside from maybe her hair nothing is working here for me. From the awful and ill-fitted dress to the hideous shoes, from the leather watch (????) to the red lips (which brings a lot of tackiness to the look) and the blazer, it’s all just bad. REALLY bad.
Oh, dear. This is really tough to pull off, but I think you need to to really long and lanky to begin with. She seems too short. The shoe choice is almost nonsensical. Nothing about this look seems planned.

Oh… I missed her so much, it’s been a while or is it just me? I would like to see her every day! I like this look, of course not one of her best, but she looks great. On somebody else this dress would look tacky but she is so feminine and classy that she can pull off. I love the jacket, the shoes, everything. I guess this outfit proves that she’s not pregnant, as some people wrote in an old post.

awful dress, I can’t believe someone (actually two persons) thought this dress would look good on a anybody. It’s ill-fitting and trashy. That’s a huge bummer for Diane, she should know better
