Alexa Chung joined a host of celebs who walked the red carpet at Center 548 last night for the 2012 CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Awards in New York City.
Once again I find myself liking an Alexa Chung look – I must be coming down with something.
Like Cody Horn, Alexa also selected a look from the Thakoon Spring 2013 collection.
She wore a light blue floral knit pullover with a white chiffon layered shirt dress featuring clear paillettes which covered the skirt.
I think what I like most about this look, apart from the effort she made on styling her hair, are the pops of red via her lips and Tabitha Simmons ‘Ruby’ bow-accented ankle strap heels.
A Louis Vuitton clutch completed her look.

Even though she made an effort on styling her hair, I dislike this look from head to toe.
Looks much better and pulled together with the coat on. Not loving the dress itself and on her.
Incredibly homely and unflattering. I guess that’s Alexa’s thing, though. The clutch doesn’t belong with this look at all.
At least the shoes are cute.
Like the shoes, hate everything else.
+2. Love the shoes, that dress is just plain ugly and Alexa doesn’t do anything to make it work.
looking like something an old lady would wear, saying that i swear i saw something similar in my grans wardrobe.
I find this look absolutely horrendous, it looks like she tried to make a dress with curtains and a fishnet.
I think the dress looks cute on her. I love the shoes. I wish her hair was better.
At least she has her own style. I kind of like it because she looks more mature than she usually does. And she´s wearing high heels for once.
Oooooh! I adore those shoes! And the lipstick is just great.
Now if she would just get rid of that horrid dress,……..
I kinda like this look even when I´m not fan of Alexa´s grabby style.
I really apreciate the touches of red and the combed hair.
This look is so horrible it is really hard to take in…the gramma’ style top that dangles on her scrawny frame… the shoes ar kind of cute but tottally wrong for this outfit
The shoes are adorable, the outfit is kind of nice and goes with her style, thou I think I’d like it more without the collar.
Not a great dress.
I also appreciate the effort put into her hair and I do love the pops of red but I don’t like her outift.
Get well soon, Fashion Critic!
Lol
I like the shoes…but everything else is more of the same badness.
