With so many colourful suits on the red carpet last night, Pharrell Williams opted for a simple traditional look.
The musician joined in the celebrations at the 2012 Glamour Women of the Year Awards at Carnegie Hall in New York City yesterday evening.
He wore a head-to-toe Lanvin look, which featured a black suit, white dress shirt, black dickie-bow, a rubberized blue leather belt and dark-blue leather tassel loafers.
Slick, hip and effortless.
Sometimes you have to appreciate a classic look, no matter how many times you’ve seen it before.

Socks???
+1
The only thing wrong with the look is that he needs a pair of socks.
Sharp!
His facial hair looks airbrushed…
needs socks.
Everyone else already said that he needs socks. I like everything else.
Pharrell definitely loves Lanvin. I’ve seen him in the past with varies Lanvin causal wear. It has even inspired me to buy a link chain from Lanvin for my very birthday/Christmas present.
On this style above–Pharrell is Pharrell, can’t do wrong.
Pharrell is super stylish. He even worked with Louis Vuitton on jewelry and eyewear.
He purposely decided not to wear socks; he sees it as a subtle touch of flair.
OMG I’m totally in love with Pharrell! Not only when I’m looking on this picture
oh pharrell… he just never ages does he?
and gorgeous and god damn… sexy in a suit
even though i absolutely HATE facial hair… i’ll still give him points for being hot
He looks nice.
Not loving the facial hair or sockless look. Other than that, pretty slick.
i had to comment..the suite is perfection!
I love a well cut suit, and Pharrel looks great. He’s a very stylish man.
), the blue belt, and id love a dressier shirt (but this one’s ok)
Here I have two and a half issues, the socks (I cant help thinking of sweaty feet
I think he looks rather dapper. Going sans socks gives it a less formal vibe which is keeping with how everyone else was dressed.
