Natalia Vodianova joined many glamorous gals on the red carpet for The PeaceEarth Foundation: Fundraising Gala held at Banqueting House in London on Saturday evening.
The Russian supermodel wore a Givenchy Spring 2013 dress, our second look at this collection on the red carpet.
Her sheer black lace dress with blouson sleeves and a gold zip accented neckline was worn without the lining which appears on the skirt — thankfully, making the dress feel lighter and more fluid.
Like most supermodels, Natalia still looks gorgeous with minimal effort paid to her hair and makeup.
Dazzling drop earrings and a black quilted clutch provided the finishing touches.

Don’t get me wrong- Natalia Vodianova is one of my Tsarinas, but this gown is a black sack.
Besides certain Givenchy Couture gowns, Givenchy doesn’t do dresses too well…
on one hand – i feel only Natalia would be able to pull this dress off just because of the silhouette and it being so draped. I agree with FC, it’s a good thing she didn’t wear the lining…but then on the other hand – I really don’t like the sheerness of the bottom half of the dress, where you see her legs.
she looks sophisticated up until that moment.
It’s too long on her which spoils the look a bit. I would’ve preferred some lining, not necessarily as heavy as the runway though but she manages not to look trashy.
Actually, I’m not hating it…although, It make her look older ( not int the most flattering way..)
I would see Kate Blanchett wearing it better
This is a baggy, confusing, sheer tarp that she got tangled up in. How this is design I fail to see.
+1
I think this is pretty awful. It’s not sexy or fashionable and the hair is very “daytime”.
Looks sloppy.
Her clutch is Givenchy.

You know FC, I can now consider myself as a designer. I just need a piece of cloth and scissors. I can produce dresses like this one.
I prefer the runway version, hers is sloppy
I think she looked beautiful. This is a gown very hard to pull off, but my first reaction was still “chic” when I saw the picture. There’s a reason why certain girls are born to walk the high-end runways only. I’m glad she “retired” before the Victoria’s Secret angel cross-over/mix-up trend of late.
She looks so beautiful and graceful, even if the dress is not even so beautiful.
Awful.
