Alicia Keys sported a very familiar silhouette on the red carpet at the 2012 MTV Europe Music Awards on Sunday evening held in Frankfurt, Germany.
The singer, who also performed on the night, wore the Stella McCartney tri-colour ‘Miracle’ dress.
While many of you are so very over this dress, I have to say I loved the green and the stunning choker which gave this look a fresh twist.
The let down was the illusion panel, which didn’t create so much of an illusion around the shoulders.
Gianvito Rossi silver metallic pumps and a sleek bob hairstyle completed her look.
Alicia shared, “Getting ready for an event like this often involves a long time in a chair getting my hair and make up done, then warming up for my performance.”

so bored of those god damn stella illusion dresses.

That illusion panel is sending shivers down my spine. Otherwise, there are no glaring mistakes, but I wished she had put on more of a show; she’s not exactly a “Girl on Fire” on this occasion.
Love the forest green on her and the makeup…hair is improved and shoes are good…but that tacky illusion netting was NOT a good design choice. STELLA!!!!!
I like Alicia in the dress, as I love the green on her, but since Heidi and Taylor wore a gown, I wish Alicia would’ve upped her game.

i actually feel the chocker is odd and strange for dress because the neck of the dress is already quite high. why shove a chocker on as well? and it’s SO THICK as well. but the weirdest and most distracting thing is the tacky illusion panel.
She looks sophisticated and feminine and it fits her to perfection. A thumps up.
I like this which is surprising because if Alicia is an amazing singer-songwriter she usually fails in the style department.
