Gemma Arterton attended the PeaceEarth Foundation Fundraising Gala held at Banqueting House in London on Saturday evening.
The British actress stunned wearing a Marios Schwab Resort 2013 dress.
Her lace, full-length black dress with a shimmering iridescent bodysuit may feel very familiar to you; that’s because Naomie Harris wore a similar dress recently to the Royal premiere for ‘Skyfall’.
Gemma styled her almost identical dress with a selection of gold rings, a dark lip colour, which has taken off again this Fall, and a simple updo.
Better the first or second time around?

Who Was Your Best Dressed At The amfAR Cinema Against AIDS Gala?

Try as I might I will never be able to get into this girl-she is just not a ‘star’
Better than Naomie imo. the hair and make-up really suit to her dress.
I like both looks. Naomie and hers.
Yes! I agree, do not get why people are so obsessed with comparing all the time! both of them are stunning!
There is no obsession. For me not to mention that the dresses are similar, would mean I am not doing my job properly.
I agree- I like both looks
this one might actually be even uglier than the version noamie wore.
I like lace better than totally sheer, but I still loathe the sparkly body-suit + sheer overlay. It almost looks like she’s attached a slip to the bodysuit, which looks weird…just not a fan of this look at all.
I agree, Emma (I’m just following you around like a puppy). this look has never appealed to me. I do like the top half of this dress–if only the lining was used for the skirt.
+1
The simplicity and sheerness of Naomie’s is way sexier and less predictable.
I’m not feeling this version either. I don’t like and lace/ sheer over bodysuit look in general and this lace pattern feels too busy. I like the dark lips on Gemma though.
Hot hot hot!
I think Gemma’s is better due to the styling. Her makeup and hair are flwless but they’re both ugly looks.
Choosing lesser of the two evils, I prefer this one over the dress that Naomie wore. At least here the iridescence is not as jarring. Nevertheless, they are both quite bad.
So much better than Naomie! I loved!
I like this a lot. I think it’s much better than Naomie’s look.
I love this a lot! She looks stunning way better then naomie in my opinion
She’s rocking this look from head to toe; FIERCE!!!
But I love both looks; Naomie and Gemma. Stunning girls indeed
Hate Naomi’s look. This is sooooooo much better and actually looks expensive, unlike Naomi’s which looked like a Topshop remake.
+1!
I still don’t like it but it doesn’t feel as offensive to my eyes this time!
I find it amusing because Gemma was also a Bond girl. Haha. But I want to fault Marios Schwab here. Naomi was wearing Spring 2012 and Gemma was wearing Resort 2013 and still the same? I guess it’s a best seller that’s why he created different versions of it.
It is similar, but not the same. All designers have one pattern of dresses that they always repeat (see identical copies in J. Saunders, identical copies in Erdem and Roksanda I., Roland M., Richard N.,… And the list goes on….). However we can see it here because two of the same style have been worn in the same week. I don’t think this is a fault but a designer signature dress.

I like it.
I think I prefer this one. The Naomi one was too obvious.
I’m confused…is there a dress underneath the lace? does it come that way, or does it come with just a bodysuit? cannot quite tell. Looks to be a dress under the lace dress, with the underneath dress made to look like a body suit…yes?
