Teresa Palmer attended the AFI Fest 2012 premiere for ‘Lincoln’ held at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in Hollywood, California yesterday evening.
The Australian actress wore a Zac Posen Resort 2013 dress.
Her bordeaux dress with slashed long sleeves, padded shoulders and an open neckline is a gorgeous dress, but I don’t buy it on Teresa.
Erin O’Connor: yes. Dita Von Teese: yes. Christine Baranski: yes. Coco Rocha: hell yes. But not Teresa.
For this dress to have even come close to working for me, she would’ve needed to take it up to knee level.
The playing dress up factor is further punctuated when you look at Teresa’s shoes to see that they are at least two sizes too big for her.
A black and gold clutch and a chic updo completed her look.

This look is enough to show that Teresa is certainly not a Zac Posen girl. The dress looks rather weird than nice on her and those shoes are so dull.
I also don’t get why she picked a dress she wore just a few days ago – she even posted it on her Twitter.
Boring shoes and she is not selling it.
She looks like she is dressng up in her mother’s dress for playtime
This is really quite terrible. It’s just swamping her and looking totally awkward. Plus those shoes are doing nothing. hair is a mess but I do like the clutch.
It always confuses me when I see stars in shoes too big for them.
Why? How can they walk in them?
This dress better suits someone with a more curvier body. She needs to have a bit more fun on the red carpet.

At knee length, better shoes and Veronica Lake hair could have worked. But this is a big no despite the effort.
What a shame about the length and sleeves. It’s such a beautiful dress and, like you said, it would look stunning on the right person. Unfortunately Teresa is not that person.
If you end up having a poll of worst dressed of the year, I certainly think this belongs there. It fails on all levels. The dress looks like something from a garage sale that doesn’t fit her.
I don’t understand. This is hauntingly beautiful on Erin O’Connor. This image should follow her around throughout her career and beyond, it’s so iconic looking. So, what happened? The dress doesn’t appear to have been tailored to suit Palmer, and she didn’t style herself to suit it. It was like some sort of arranged fashion marriage where neither party got what they had wanted.
