Lucy Liu attended the 2012 Women for Women International Gala at Koch Theater, Lincoln Center in New York City yesterday evening, where she was honoured with the ‘Champion of Peace’ Awards.
The ‘Elementary’ actress looked very elegant wearing a Roland Mouret jet-black ‘Codrington’ gown from the Spring 2013 collection.
Lucy’s gown features a bateau neckline with an origami folded detail and a cut-out back with an exposed zipper.
A dazzling silver Wilfredo Rosado cuff, which matched her Wilfredo Rosado earrings, and Roger Vivier embellished clutch accessorized her look.
Minimal makeup and a low bun provided the finishing touches.
The only thing I would change about the look is the cuff.
With this simple silhouette, I think the look didn’t need both the clutch and the cuff.

Love from head to toe–actually really like the addition of clutch and cuff. She looks gorgeous and BDOTW worthy. The only way I would have loved it more would be if it were royal blue (like the RM dress under “FC’s Favorites”)
ITA. Love the cuff and her whole look. She’s the total package here.
I do agree with FC, the cuff is unnecesary. The clutch already adds enough bling. If she wanted to wear it she should have opted for a more simple clutch, black or not. Other than that she looks classy, and the minimal make up is a wellcoming touch.
She looks beautiful, I love the neckline on the dress. The cuff is kind of heavy, maybe something dazzling that was lighter, more delicate.
