Bérénice Marlohe attended the ‘Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame’ ceremony honouring Javier Bardem in California yesterday afternoon.
The French actress wore an Elie Saab dress from the Pre-Fall 2012 collection.
It pains me to say it, but I’m swiftly falling out of love with Berenice.
Her nude dress with lace sleeves and a lace yoke is nice enough, but nothing to get excited about.
You won’t be surprised to learn that she opted for her two-tone smoky eye with this look, which again doesn’t work with her nude dress.
I’m starting to think her makeup artist is something of a one-trick pony.
Giuseppe Zanotti gold metallic pumps and a wavy updo completed her look.
I believe she can do better, but she’s yet to prove it.

I think she looks great.
I like the dress, I just regret the zip in the back.
I like the make up with thiss dress pretty simple.
I like the dress better in black.
+1
me too, the lace detailing is more visible.
I have to say the big zipper on the back bothers me a bit though
Whatcha talkin bout?
she looks great!
i <3 d smokey eye!
+1
oh and…….ELIE SAAB IS A GENIUS!!!
I like the dress better in black, wish she’d worn that. It’s true that the bodice of the dress might not offer enough support for her. Regardless, it’s a pretty good look and I like her hair, makeup and shoes here.
she looks ok, but the dress is a bit too tight and the eye make up too heavy. I like the hair and the shoes.
To be fair, her two Elie Saab looks were fantastic, her Roksanda Ilincic look was lovely, her Dolce & Gabbana look was appropriate, her Salvatore Ferragamo look was stylish and her Vivienne Westwood premiere look was hot.
But I agree. Her makeup has become annoying.
I think she didn’t want to steal the spotlight.
Ooh, love how sexy those gold pumps are! But the dress is better in black, for sure. That nude lace makes her look like she has a skin disorder.
Having said that, I’ve not been impressed with her looks one bit.
The dress suits her but make up and shoes are so not right for and afternoon event. Her stylist should know better.
I think this is one of her better looks, but I agree, nothing exciting.
I think she great. I love this look.
I’m just tired of smoky eyes with every look. She is naturally beautiful so why do that for every look ?
I think this look would have been better with lighter makeup but other than that , i do love her look .
Fashion Critic you are sipping that crazy juice, she looks fantastic, I actually like the dress better in nude….
I have to disagree. I love this look and her smokey eyes are her signature.
Note everyone else in the picture is clad in jeans. Thus she looks overdressed and trying too hard.
I think if she had worn the black version her make up wouldn’t have looked so harsh, i also think it would work better with her shoe choice.
actually – out of ALL her looks so far in this tour… THIS has got to be my favourite – purely because it’s not a full length gown that makes her butt look too big, or her head too big, and legs too short.
I agree with many of you. Marhole looks wonderful. For this occasion, the dress and heel is appropriate. I also agree with you, FC, on the makeup. She could have straightened her hair as well to give a sleek chic look.
I personally like this look.
I’m beginning to think Elie Saab CAN’T work wonders on everyone, not when the wearer in question sticks with one type of eye makeup and always seems to wear dresses in the wrong size. Great shoes, but they don’t make up for the too-tight dress and thick smoky eye.
