Penelope Cruz attended the ‘Venuto Al Mondo’ photocall at the St Regis in Rome, Italy, earlier this afternoon.
The Spanish beauty wore a Versace Resort 2013 leather trench coat for her promo duties.
I do love the black double-breasted coat with gold buckles, but I don’t find it particularly flattering on Penelope.
I prefer her to wear more classic looks. This edgier attempt doesn’t work for me.
That being said, I’m very excited to see Pen back on the red carpet. Recently she’s been giving us some vintage Gianni Versace looks, so I hope that continues during this tour.
Pen styled her look with wild tresses and black suede Jimmy Choo ‘Eros’ pumps.
You may remember that Berenice Marlohe opted for a coat for her photocall a few weeks ago. This could be the start of a new trend.

Very sloppy fit, too tight and somewhat misshapen on her. The hair is also a sloppy mess. Very unpolished, she looks trashy.
I don’t know–I think she looks kinda hot.
I want to love this look because her face and hair look amazing but there’s just to many buckles and buttons. the pockets on the skirt dont help.
The overall look is super hot and she knows how to play the sexy girl. But when getting closer I found a few mistakes like the wais, that is hideous fited, and the hair and make up that are giving this bad Courtney Love vibe.

I think that it doesn’t flatter her figure, these days she tends to go with clothes that are way too tight. And those heavy shoes are not doing her any favors either. That said I do like the edgier approach.
The dress kind of makes her look chunkier than she is.

She looks like she’s busting out of it, might like it if the fit was better. I hate platform pumps. I really hate them. Most of these actresses wear them to pump up their height, but I think they just look silly most of the time.
