It was Miranda Lambert’s night at the 46th Annual CMA Awards held at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee, yesterday evening, as she took home the gongs for ‘Female Vocalist of the Year’ and ‘Song of the Year’ with husband Blake Shelton for their hit, ‘Over You’.
The award-winning singer wore a Maria Lucia Hohan blush gown for the occasion.
I love the colour, but I feel like the gown isn’t very supportive for someone so well endowed. Which I think explains why her posture is so bad in many of the pictures.
A voluminous updo and emerald-and-gold Sutra earrings completed her look.

I think she looks good, other than the distracting part where it looks like a child’s head pasted on a different body. Maybe halter isn’t good for her.
No support for the twins. Not a great fit or color.

She looks so uncomfortable. Why chose a look if you can’t wear it comfortably?
Really bad choice of a gown for her body type – not only it doesn’t flatter her figure but makes her look rather cheap when teamed with her voluminous bust, the promy voluminous ‘do doesn’t help, and even though her emerald-and-gold earrings are pretty, they are not the best choice of statement jewellery with the blush gown.

I really want to like M L Hohan’s dresses, but the construction just looks soooooo shoddy. Almost all of her dresses look like they were rushed and sent out unfinished.
ITA I am surprised so many celebs wer her dresses as they are repeatative and poorly made
Ugh. Seriously? This is just about the WORST dress she could have chosen–and the worst hairstyle. Only the earrings are good.

Miranda wanted to be Tylor Swift, but her body is not helping her.
MLH makes beautiful dresses and they are spectacular. Many celebs want her dresses, but not all have a great body!
Really not a good choice for her body and the styling doesn’t match well either.
There is a pose that some photographers will tell you to do, head forward, shoulders back, to make your face and ncek look slimmer. (I call it the turtle pose.) I have seen Renee Zelweiger do the same thing. Straight on shots look ok, but from the side it looks awkward, Miranda tucked her head down so it looks even stranger.
This doesn’t suit Miranda at all, I remember when Taylor wore a similar dress to the KCAs with that halter and the rubbery-looking bodice. It worked for her but not for Miranda, it makes her head look too small and chest too wide. The hair doesn’t help a bit. I love her makeup though.
