Marion Cotillard was on hand to collect the ‘International Actor of The Year’ Award at the 2012 Harper’s Bazaar Women of the Year Awards, held at Claridge’s Hotel in London on Wednesday evening.
She really should’ve been collecting the ‘Brand Ambassador for Dior’ Award because she wore her third look from the Christian Dior Spring 2013 collection.
At this rate there will be nothing left for other actresses to choose from.
The French beauty seems to be sticking to the darker, some would say, safer pieces from this collection, donning a navy strapless dress with a fully black tulle rise-and-fall skirt.
While it’s my least favourite of the three, with Marion’s charm and grace she manages to make it work.
Dove grey Dior pumps, Chopard jewels, pink lips and a wavy updo completed her look.

I love this dress. I’m not convinced by the shoes, but she looks lovely.

+ I don’t understand how those shoes happened. That’s a mess!

Marion looks lovely, but I do wish her hair had been in a slick bun with this look instead.
pretty boring looking outfit.
whilst some may think it dull. I think it is very elegant.
When I read this half sentence “with Marion’s charm and grace she manages to make it work.” My first reaction was No, she does not!
This grey pumps is awful with that beautiful Dior dress. I love this dress much more on Kinga, the model, and the runway shoes works much better than Marion’s dior pumps. I wish She had worn the runway shoes.
The shoes aren’t really my favourite but the overall look is gorgeous IMO.
I think she looks pretty.
I really love the dress and her makeup. Not so much the shoes and her messy hair.
Apart from the roach killers(shoes), she looks great. She really is a great ambassador for Dior.
She looks uncomfortable. Her hair looks uncombed. Those shoes are an eyesore. Severe case of strapless, full-skirted Dior deja vu.
Amen, very uncomfortable and major deja vu case. The necklace matched to the shoes hurts my eyes too.
I’m sick of writing about grey shoes. Have grey shoes become the new nude pump? What is with this horrid trend? Ugh…
Very ugly shoes, that’s a really bad call.
IMO, the entire look is bad.
I actually love the choice of accessories with the gown. The hair is the only thing that isn’t working for me.
I remember you saying that you wanted Marion to have a Chanel contract, but instead she had a Dior one!
)
I absolutely love Marion and Dior; it’s such a lovely pairing. Now, I’m just getting tired of it. Shake it up a little bit Marion! Charlize and Natalie both have Dior contracts, but at least they don’t hog the entire line.
I think she looks graceful and elegant. She has given the dress charm–the tulle gives it a ballet like feel, very French of course. Interestingly, the shoes go with the necklace for me.
Not loving the hair or shoes, but beautiful dress.
