Monica Cruz showed support for her brother-in-law Javier Bardem as she took to the red carpet at Santa Ana Square for the ‘Skyfall’ Madrid premiere in Spain last night.
The Spanish beauty wore a Gabriela Cadena Fall 2012 gown.
Her black gown with leather appliqués around the waist and gold accents on the shoulders also had a sexy plunging neckline.
I’m not crazy about the gown, but I don’t hate it either; this is mostly because it looks so much better on the mode.
The Spanish actress didn’t quite have the height required to pull this look off plus the panels around the waist aren’t very flattering on her.
A simple ponytail and gold clutch completed her look.

Not a flattering dress.
I believe if Monica’s feet didn’t hurt..she’d be standing straighter, have a lift in her shoulders and a nice smile on her lovely face..then she’d rock that gorgeous dress!!!
Improved posture would help, but I suspect this dress would look better on someone with fewer assets–e.g. someone flat and skinny–like the model!
Loathe! It is a nice dress as we can see on the model, but it doesn’t fit Monica’s body shape. I also dislike very strongly the clutch with the dress.
Some dresses are just made for skinny women. There are plenty of choices out there for curvy figures.

I don’t like the dress on the model, and I definitely don’t like it on Monica. SO unflattering, which is a shame because she is gorgeous–looks so much like Penelope.
I actually love this! It doesn’t strike me as something that doesn’t suit her figure. The shoulder details are amazing, and I like the edgy leather bodice as well.
Also, doesn’t she have a ponytail? I can see the hair hanging in the back, it doesn’t look like a bun.

I feel the same FC, really like it on the model but she doesn’t have the height to pull this dress off. Good effort though.
