Dior hosted an exclusive preview of their Spring 2013 collection to celebrate the opening of the Dior Beverly Hills boutique in California on Saturday night.
With so many stars attending the Gucci event, Marisa Tomei was the only celeb in attendance for the Dior boutique opening.
She wore a pink-and-black striped look with folded and pleated details from the same Spring 2013 collection the brand were showcasing.
The dress is interesting enough. I even like the shoes, but her hair is a tad blah.
Marisa used to be one of my favourites, but I haven’t been excited about any of her red carpet looks in a while.

Have not been wowed by any of her looks lately. Nice dress but that’s it.
The shoes work well with the dress, not a fan of the dress and I don’t think it suits her that well.
+1 – no bueno

This look suits Marissa’s current, artsy sense of style.
I wish she would wear more Preen, as the brand is SO her sense of style, as is Peter Pilotto and possibly Derek Lam and Peter Som.
But her lipstick is GORGEOUS. SWOON.
This was one of my favourite looks in the show but not on her mostly as you pointed out because of her hair and make up.
I agree with your assessment. Pretty dress and shoes, but the hair could’ve been more exciting. I wish Raf Simons all the best. I know the world is ruled by sellouts and flamboyant personalities. I hope he’ll give us a Dior that’s both commercial and cool. Anna, please feature a lot of them in Vogue.
She will. I was in Paris the day of the couture show and she and he walked out arm and arm from L’avenue, the restaurant across fron Dior’s headquarters. If that is not a tacit seal of approval I do not know whatis.
I like the dress and the shoes but not her hair and make up.
I love her makeup and think the dress looks really nice on her. I think it’s one of her better looks, so fresh.
Um, I don’t see how this dress is design. It’s supposed to be Dior and yet it’s just misshapen fabric. Another disappointing look from Marisa.
The dress does not flatter the figure.
Marisa`s shoes must be killing her.
Like the dress on the model, but it looks like a sack on her for some reason.
