Kerry Washington joined a host of stars who took to the red carpet on Saturday evening for the LACMA 2012 Art + Film Gala honoring Ed Ruscha and Stanley Kubrick in LA.
The ‘Scandal’ actress wore a Gucci Spring 2013 satin dress with heavily beaded details.
I love the colour, but I almost feel like there is too much going on around the neckline.
Nonetheless Kerry pulls off this look wonderfully. Thankfully she was wise enough to pull her hair back so it didn’t compete.
Gold Gucci open-toe ankle strap sandals and a beige Gucci python box clutch completed her look.
Love or loathe?

Frankly, I don’t like the color too.
absolutely love, she looks amazing! she’s so pretty, love the colour of the dress on her
Awwww. I can see where you are coming from, FC, especially in the close up. But as far as I am concerned she gets away with it by balancing it with the clear cut of the rest of the dress and the simple accessories. Plus she’s Kerry!
Is the theme that night “Shiny, Shapeless and Tacky”?
Love.
Nothing against Frieda, but I think this dress looks tacky. I love the colour on Kerry though.
She is a reeeeaaally beautiful woman!
This look is so easy on her and she has great legs.
If only this had been a fitted sheath, I would love it. As it is it’s too baggy.
Love the colour and love the styling but I think there is a bit too much at he neckline. I could do without the fan like sections creeping up the neck.
Luuuurve!she could wear a bejeweled binliner cos shes such a babe.
I like it but not the sateen material.
Like Amber Heard’s dress, you take away the beautiful neckline and you are left with a shapeless mess. I do like the colour though.
The fit is awful.
Don’t focus on the necklines because you’re going to say this a lot of times if we see a lot from this collection on the red carpet ^^
Love the color, love the embellishment, but I wish it were more fitted. Not crazy about the shoes, I wish she had chosen a pair similar to the green of her dress detail.
I like the neckline, it make the dress interesting and it highlights her beautiful face.
