Amber Heard looked gorgeous when she took to the red carpet at the LACMA 2012 Art + Film Gala honoring Ed Ruscha and Stanley Kubrick in LA on Saturday evening.
Our favourite blonde bombshell, who is now a smouldering brunette, wore a Gucci Spring 2013 black frock.
This is anything but your classic LBD as the gold-and-black beaded neckline commands your attention. I’m impressed that she carried it off so well, as it doesn’t appear to overwhelm her.
Black multi-strap Gucci ’Lisbeth’ pumps, a wispy updo and a gorgeous red-orange lip colour completed her look.

PERFECTION YES! She could wear a trashbag I would still love her. But more seriously, she’s pulling off this dress perfectly, the neckline is perfect. She’s great as a brunette but I think I prefer her blonde do ^^

This is by far the best of the shorter dresses. Love the shape, the racer back and the embellishment. I like her better with this hair color than the bleached blonde.

Jesus, she is obscenely beautiful and charismatic. I wish that charisma would translate onscreen but that’s another story…
She looks fantastic and is pulling this look off with serious aplomb. She could easily be overwhelmed or overshadowed by that neckline but not only does she showcase it perfectly but she manages to still stand out.
The only slight flaw are the rather boring shoes. Would be nice for her to have worn some with gold hardware detail.
Otherwise she’s fantastic.
Oh and she looks just as good brunette as she does blonde.

The shoe choice is awful! Would have loved it if the dress were floor-length. As is, the casualness of the length and pockets seems to be fighting with the formality of the neckpiece.
She pulls this look off with such grace. Absolutely stunning.
