Here is a quick rundown of Nieves Alvarez’ Solo Moda looks from the weekend.
Her first look was a Giambattista Valli Fall 2012 printed dress with Giuseppe Zanotti two-tone sandals.
Next up was a vibrant pink Dsquared² Resort 2013 dress styled with gold Mango pumps. I wish they were sandals.
An Alex Vidal Fall 2012 LDB and silver Jimmy Choo ‘Private’ sandals rounded up Saturday’s looks.
On Sunday she started with a Christian Dior Fall 2012 purple dress styled with a gorgeous pair of Jimmy Choo gold ankle-strap sandals.
I prefer Nieves’ Roger Vivier bow-accented ankle-strap sandals to her high-neck, long-sleeve Halston Heritage dress.
The final look was a striking Michael Kors Spring 2012 animal-print dress with black Jimmy Choo shoes.

I totally agree with you, the Christian Dior purple dress is amazing, very feminine & i personally love this kind of colour on a dress. With the black belt, it’s simply perfect !

love the Dior dress
Gotta go with the Dior (oh, that purple!) but only barely over the Valli, which I also love (j’adore the beautiful draping). With Nieves, I also look for my fave shoe separate from the attire. Toss-up between those Viviers and the heels she wore with the Valli.
Dior is BDOTW-worthy–I love that royal purple shade! My runner up is the Valli (also beautiful). Don’t like any of the others.

I like the Valli, Dior and Halston.
I like the Dsquared, Alex Vidal, Dior and Halston dresses (looks 2-4), but you can keep all of those shoes.
Looks 1, 2 and 4 are my favourites.
