Violante Placido attended the Vogue Italia dinner party during the 2012 Venice Film Festival back in August wearing a stunning Philosophy di Alberta Ferretti Fall 2012 dress.
Her grey silk strapless dress with sparkling crystal details was styled with matching silver and PVC ankle-strap pumps. Breaking up the silver colour palette, she added a cream minaudiere and a hot-pink lip colour.
The following month, Julie Bowen wore the same dress while attending the Academy Of Television Arts & Sciences Performer Nominees’ 64th Primetime Emmy Awards Reception.
Julie also opted for all silver accessories including Brian Atwood peep-toes and a metallic Jimmy Choo ‘Tube’ clutch.
Violante wins for me. I love that pop of pink.

both look pretty good in the dress.
Peaches Geldof also wore it at the Prometheus premiere in June 2012 (I just found out randomly looking at gossip sites
) one month after giving birth.
Both look amazing in this dress, but I prefer Violante’s accessories
Violante because she looks more ethereal…I like the pink lip too. I wish one of them had worn the belt.
I don’t like the fit around the bust for Violante – it looks as though the dress is being held up by squashing and flattening from above, rather than support from below.
I’m missing the belt with both looks
Both look great, but it’s Violante for me too because of her lip colour and her shoes.
Julie’s dress is better fitting IMO.
