The British Fashion Council Cocktail Party

The British Fashion Council held a cocktail party to celebrate the LONDON show ROOMS yesterday evening at the Skybar at the Mondrian Los Angeles.

Marisa Tomei: The actress continued to showcase her love for London-based designers by wearing a Marios Schwab jacket from the Spring 2012 collection. It’s surprising how this collection has suddenly become so popular this week. The jacket gets a pass, but those MC Hammer pants are not particularly flattering. The yellow shoes add a punch, but I can’t say I really like much about this look, which is very rare to say when it comes to Marisa.

Christa B. Allen: The ‘Revenge’ actress opted for a look from the David Koma Spring 2013 collection. Her nude-and-orange print dress is uber cute, but I can’t say the same about her lace-up ankle boots. They just don’t go with the dress.

Louise Roe: The TV host totally captured my attention in this printed ensemble. As a jumpsuit I like it, but she should’ve lost the additional shirt. Whilst the clutch is too big and dominating the look, which is no mean feat with that print, the toe-cap pumps are more complementary.

How did nobody get it right? There’s nothing i like at all with Marisa and Louise. Christa’s dress is adorable and fits beautifully, and I like her makeup. Different shoes, different hairdo, it could be a huge hit.

When I look at Marisa, for some reason (that I CANNOT EXPLAIN) I think of Big Bird. I know, crazy, right? Only the shoes are yellow. But the whole suit looks like a costume.
Christa’s dress is cute but those shoes are a fashion felony.
    Louise looks crazy.
