Astrid Berges-Frisbey attended the ‘Chanel The Little Black Jacket’ exhibition launch earlier today in Sydney, Australia.
The French actress wore a Chanel Resort 2013 denim dress.
You may remember that Bella Heathcote wore a similar look from this collection and surprised us all by making us love her denim look.
I don’t feel the same about Astrid’s haphazard and, dare I say, lazy styling.
The look is totally unappealing to me, very Alexa Chung with the messy hair.
Even with the red lips and a red Chanel purse she can’t beg me to like this look.
And does she only have one pair of shoes? She seems to live in those Rupert Sanderson shoes.

I normally adore Astrid in Chanel, but this is just not working. She looks like she’s confused as to why she’s there. The only things I like are the bag and the lip color.

I kind of like it. she has that french allure and imo she pulls it off. I really like the pop of colour of the lipstick

Pretty face but this look is not good.
I like her makeup. And the bag is nice enough. That’s about as good as it gets here.
“Lazy” is the perfect word to describe this, doesn’t appeal to me either.
To me her hair is more kristen stewart, minus the grease.
Also, I like her shoe, and there are only 2 other posts with her wearing them on RCFA, and one of those times, they were silver.
Ugh, no. Bella managed the incredible feat of making denim sophisticated, but Astrid looks like she got this hideous dress from a thrift store. Granted, it is pretty awful to start with, but her lackluster styling does nothing to win me over.

For a street look I’d have found it quite cute. I like the shoes, they’re better than black pumps too and they cover up her ugly tattoo.
