Vanessa Hudgens joined AnnaSophia Robb on the red carpet Monday evening for the New York Television Festival premiere for ‘The Carrie Diaries’ held at the SVA Theater.
The raven-haired actress donned a black dress by For Love and Lemons. You’d be forgiven if you thought it was a Mark Fast dress.
Her flared mini dress with an open waist, long sleeves and cut-out details on the front panel is tres tacky for me.
While she’s young enough to pull it off, I don’t find one thing appealing about this look.
She accessorized with a pair of black ankle boots, a gold necklace and dangling earrings.

The dress is not cute, but it looks much better on the model. Vanessa would have been better off if the cut outs had been higher on her ribs and showed a little less skin.

Ugh, how trashy–something that I would expect Shenae Grimes to wear in her grunge days! I do love Vanessa’s hair here, but this is a major step back from someone who had been showing improvement.
I think the dress just hit her on the wrong spots. The cutouts are supposed to be around your ribcages. Since she’s petite, it goes down to her hips, which makes it unflattering…
