Bérénice Marlohe In Vivienne Westwood – ‘Skyfall’ Royal Premiere

For the royal premiere of James Bond’s ‘Skyfall’ at the Royal Albert Hall this evening, Berenice Marlohe was striking in red.

The French actress wore a gown by British designer Vivienne Westwood.

Westwood’s signature corset gown with a bustle was styled with a wispy updo and dazzling Stephen Webster earrings.

We expected high glamour from the Bond women tonight and they didn’t let us down.

Berenice completed her look with smoky two-tone eyes, which is fast becoming her signature look.

Love it from the neck down. The eye makeup is overdone. In these pictures the hair looks too messy.

Wow, I see a BDOTW contender. Love that the jewelry’s not so in your face.

  3. Rafael October 23, 2012 at 19:02 #

    I didn’t expect a lot from her but… I love it

  4. rita October 23, 2012 at 19:03 #

I think she looks scary and not in a good way :-(

+1. Love from the neck down but eye make-up and hair put me right off.

      +1

Love everything except the eye makeup. I really don’t like the red part of it. But she still looks much better than Naomie.

  6. Fiona-Brasil October 23, 2012 at 19:24 #

    Exquisite!pure perfection!

  7. dunzoo October 23, 2012 at 19:24 #

    she looks kinda boring

  8. robbie October 23, 2012 at 19:25 #

the dress is beautiful but again the make-up is ridiculous.

  9. gabis October 23, 2012 at 19:31 #

It looks like she recycled her eye makeup which I don’t like it at all. It was alright with the Dolce&Gabbana because that dress really needed a boost of any kind but it’s not the case of this Vivienne Westwood. The blue heavy makeup really doesn’t suit this look.

I get the impact and everything, but I just don’t really loe the look. I think that Vivienne Westwood has doen this gown a million times before, and that it looks costumey and that the back look messy. In fact I think that the frotn loosk messy after the corset and first half of the skirt.
I likes teh eye makeup before, but I now think that it is too intense for all of her looks.

Also, FC, I’m just wondering if you will post Judi Dench’s look because I think that she looked so, so beautiful. Mesermizing even. I know she wont be to everyone’s tastes, but I really think that she was teh standout from this premiere.
If not, I understand why, I just would love a post on her. I still remember that chartreuse yellow ress she wore years ago. :)

DRAMA! I love it. The eye makeup isn’t going to be everyone’s cup of tea, but I think it’s fab.

  12. Noemi October 23, 2012 at 20:15 #

She looks great. The dress fits her perfectly.

  13. Beta October 23, 2012 at 20:34 #

she is smoldering! absolutely love the attitude

  14. Rebecca Z October 23, 2012 at 20:45 #

Stunning and dramatic. Take her on her own terms–she looks amazing.

  15. Kathy October 23, 2012 at 21:01 #

Hmm, I want to love this look but I can’t. The skirt looks fussy and sloppy, like a lot of gowns can when the skirt is voluminous and crinkled. Don’t like the way the top of the bust “curls up” either. Her eye makeup is disastrous, it looks like she went to smudge her eyeliner, tried to remove it when it got too messy, and just gave up and left it there.

    • Quinn October 24, 2012 at 02:54 #

fussy and sloppy – my thoughts exactly!

  16. dee October 23, 2012 at 21:17 #

Love it from the waist up. I think the eye makeup works since the gown is so dramatic. With that being said, the bottom of the gown looks like a wrinkled mess.

  17. Aline October 23, 2012 at 21:19 #

WOW! My jaw just dropped. She looks fabulous!

  18. Nat39 October 23, 2012 at 21:37 #

I think both Berenice’s and Naomie’s looks ended up in a costumey zone unfortunately.

  19. Jones19 October 23, 2012 at 21:55 #

    Stunning!

  20. Ramsay October 23, 2012 at 22:45 #

Don’t like it – don’t think it looks classy at all – something about that tone of red does not look good – plus I think she is overdressed for a movie premiere (even if at ROyal Albert Hall) – big no for me

  21. TeaAtTwo October 23, 2012 at 23:10 #

Not that fond of the eye make-up but the hairstyle goes well with the dress.
Though not perfect for my taste I like that both Bond women went big and bold for the premiere.

  22. robert October 24, 2012 at 03:42 #

I’m sorry, but her makeup makes her look like she has a black eye.

  23. Christine October 24, 2012 at 04:49 #

Not liking the facial expression but I love the drama of the dress. Red stands for Dramarama.

    • marie October 24, 2012 at 21:27 #

yes! what’s up with that facial expression?

  24. Lyo October 24, 2012 at 06:21 #

Love it! When Vivienne Westwood get it right, she get it right! Stunning dress, BDOTW worthy.
And I like the eyes… I think a fierce dress asks for a bold makeup, that’s what the look asks for, rock’n roll and edgy.

  25. b October 24, 2012 at 09:12 #

is she wearing the same make up she wore fot the photocall?

    fierce facial expression

  26. Jess2 October 24, 2012 at 10:00 #

Amazing look! I don’t really like the makeup re-run from her Dolce and Gabbana look but love the dress and love the attitude.

  27. EmmaWoodhouse October 25, 2012 at 02:57 #

I don’t like the eye makeup, and it IS too lownecked for my taste…but still. Pretty stunning, and pretty perfect for the occasion. She is absolutely beautiful, and the dress is dramatic and very Bondgirl. It also fits her to a T. She blew Naomie out of the water!

  28. Mia October 25, 2012 at 08:54 #

i’m pretty sure she can’t breathe in this corset/dress. and that make up is scary for this kind of dress. it’s way to dark, bold and heavy.
