Zhang Ziyi attended the New York Chinese Film Festival, at the Alice Tully Hall in New York City yesterday evening looking as stunning as ever.
The Asian star, who was presented with the ‘Most Outstanding Asian Artist Award’ at the event, wore another Marc Bouwer gown, this time from the designer’s Fall 2012 Couture collection.
Her navy velvet cap-sleeved gown with gathered detailing and a plunging neckline couldn’t be more season appropriate.
She dazzled the crowds with stunning Bulgari jewels and a gold satin Bulgari clutch from the Serpenti collection.
A simple ponytail and a beautiful smile completed her look.

Agreed – gorgeous! I love the color of the dress and the beautifully done rouching. She looks amazing. I’m a little over the top so I MIGHT have done a darker lip, maybe red.

Very beautiful, great colour and the way the fabric is gathered around her figure is giving her such an amazing silhouette, gorgeous jewels, loving the fresh makeup, BDOTW worthy.
Sensational! They handled the velvet perfectly. I would definately made her face and lips much warmer and richer, more blush and rich red berry lips.
I love this stunning look so much I think it’s a contender for BDOTY list. The design, fit, colour and complementary accessories are all gorgeous.

Best Dressed of the Year for me… I can’t get over the beauty of the vintage-vibe. The perfect color that compliments her complexion. I’m in awe.
I completely agree. I can get over enthusiastic about some looks, but to me this deserves to be nominated for BDOTY. I think that every part of this outfit works perfectly together and that she looks incredible in it. I find her hit and miss but this is beyond a hit. The only tiny thing that irks me, and it is minor, is that I really feel like I have seen that necklace before!

The rouching and velvet compliment each other like I would’ve never imagined. The color is divine and I especially love the dramatic shoulders. An automatic winner for BDOTW.
