Lauren Conrad made a guest appearance at the Barnes & Noble bookstore in New York City on Tuesday to promote her latest books ‘Lauren Conrad Beauty’ and ‘Starstruck’.
The former MTV reality star looked cute wearing a yellow Yoana Baraschi ‘Venus’ party dress.
Her web-like dress with intricate floral detailing was styled with Aldo ‘Fawson’ nude pumps.
With her ombre wavy blonde locks pinned to one side, the author completed her look with glossy lips.

I’m sorry but I would never take beauty advice from someone who walks around with that hair.
Can she please make that mess of hair go away?
This look wold have been much improve had she had normal hair and a better pair of shoes. Also yellow dresses and red lips is, to me, a beauty classic (think of Michelle Williams in Vera Wang) so a red lip would have made it better, to.

Is there a heat wave in NYC?
Or is it totally season-inappropriate?
Pretty dress, the rest is a snooze.
Pretty dress but that’s it.
I am sorry but I find her EXTREMELY boring, fashionwise and personality wise. She’s always gonna bore me. She reminds me of Taylor Swift and not in a good way.
I like it, it’s a cute event-appropriate look. The simple nude pumps do not distract from the intricate detailing on the dress while the hair adds to the playful vibe of the look, and her makeup is fresh.
Her hair is horrid. I like the dress.
Seriously- who’s buying her books?! There’s nothing trend setting/inspirational about this mediocre woman. The hair is bad but the dress itself is pretty.
The dress changes, but she always looks the same.
I love the dress, but her hair is really awful–so many different colors in it. The nude shoes are a bit boring. I like her soft makeup though.
