Jaime King celebrated the launch of Rachel Zoe’s ‘Major Must Haves’ range with Jockey at the Sunset Tower in West Hollywood, California last night.
The ‘Hart of Dixie’ actress wore a Christian Dior Fall 2012 ensemble consisting of an eggplant long-sleeve top with a textured calf-length purple skirt with sheer panels.
Interestingly she styled the look with the same statement necklace we saw on the runway.
A gold clutch and brown Dior shoes from the same collection provided the finishing touches.
What was she thinking when she decided tie her Dior pumps this ‘ballerina-esqe’ way? It’s a small detail, but it brings down the whole look for me.
In fact that clutch doesn’t work for me either.
You may remember that Lea Seydoux wore the same dress back in March.

Is it me or does this Dior collection look more like Burberry?
Yes, she looks good until you get to the shoes.
I like the way Lea styled her dress.
Its cleaner on the runway, but I still think the look is divine.
this look is great from the ankles up, those shoes are HORRENDOUS!
This look works really well for Jamie, glad she kept the necklace, it makes the look. The shoes do not bother me, they work fine with the overall look, but the clutch isn’t quite working, agree.
The shoes ruin it.
The dress looks better on her than on Lea, but that’s the only thing I like. I dislike her shoes and her clutch.
I adore her, and she looks good, but she can definitely do better than this. The shoes are atrocious, it’s not a small detail, the criss cross makes them look clunky and draw the eye down.
I don’t see anything wrong with the shoes. The original look has sort of a ballerina feel as well.
The shoes are terrible, as is he clutch with this look. I really like the rest though.
Love this on the runway, but neither she nor Lea made it work for me off!
