We recently saw Leighton Meester on the set of ‘Gossip Girl’ wearing an Elie Saab Couture gown; yesterday it was the turn of Blake Lively.
The blonde beauty was filming what appears to be a wedding scene with Penn Badgley on the Upper East Side of New York City.
Having recently got married herself, I’m sure the actress could draw from experience on this occasion.
She looked radiant wearing a Georges Chakra Spring 2011 Couture gown.
The gold strapless ballgown with a white tulle skirt was styled with a chic updo and drop earrings.
This moved beautifully when it took to the runway, so I can’t wait to see it on screen.
Yes, I’ve been sucked back into ‘Gossip Girl’ via the allure of Lebanese designers and their spectacular Couture gowns.

Blake looks very pretty but I’m not in love with the gold part of the dress. But I can see that they’re trying to have the dress be a reminder of the dress Serena wore to cotillion, since the importance of that night for the couple. Gosh I know way too much about Gossip Girl lol.

This looks great on Gossip Girl – not sure it would look good in real life – same as I think Carrie’s Vivienne Westwood dress and peacock headpiece works in the movie but necessarily in real life (at least not the headpiece) – I also think Blake Lively has a wonderful skin
