Mary Louise Parker joined Solange Knowles on the red carpet for the American Ballet Theatre Opening Night Fall New York City Center Gala yesterday evening.
The ‘Weeds’ actress wore a custom Anne Klein dress.
Her maroon dress with a V-neckline, cinched-in waist and chiffon flutter sleeves was styled with Hoorsenbuhs jewels and Christian Louboutin shoes.

It’s a figure-flattering dress although nothing special, not sure about the fabric, don’t mind the addition of the necklaces. The hair looks messy, could’ve been neater and she needs to work on her facial expression.

I love it. Looks delicate, breezy and romantic. The colour’s great and the gold necklace adds to it’s richness.
Effortless and appropriate. Divine color. Dress moved beautifully in person. Love that she wore her own Hoorsenbuhs jewels (not borrowed). Reminds me of how chic Parisians go to a gala: put on a beautiful dress, do simple hair and make up, and complimentary jewels. We don’t all need to put on the kitchen sink when we go out at night. Nice to see one of the great stage/tv/film actresses in the USA support the arts and not try to distract and one-up the performance by wearing a costume! Simple and chic is always right.
Love the gorgeous dress but the hair is not good. She should have worn an updo with this. The necklace is pretty.
