Christa B. Allen helped Target celebrate their 50th Anniversary in New York City last night.
The ‘Revenge’ star went all out wearing a look from the Donna Karan Resort 2013 collection.
Her beautiful black strapless tulle dress with stunning embellished details is absolutely gorgeous, but I can’t help feeling that this dress deserved a grander occasion like a gala, or a premiere perhaps.
Especially considering some of her fellow attendees wore T-shirts and jeans.
Black strappy Armani sandals, a satin black Judith Leiber clutch, pink glossy lips and tumbling curls completed her look.

Way too much for the occasion, and she makes it look a bit too princessy with the tumbling curls – a simple elegant ‘do would’ve toned down the cutesy princessy vibe a bit.
plus she looks rather wide through the midsection.
isn’t it obvious that’s the dress? it looks like about 10 layers of tulle. i think the poofiness is the point.
and I don’t like it, wish her waist looked at least a little bit smaller.

How does this look fun?? This is so serious with those shoes and prom hair. For a Target event? Totally wrong and the dress is not working on her. She looks about 15 lbs heavier that usual just from the dress. And not the tulle part but the waist and corseted section just don’t read well on her body.

The dress looks fantastic and so beautiful on the model, but none of that translates onto Christa. She doesn’t have the height, her accessories are wrong, and it’s too formal for this event.
The dress doesn’t work for her figure.

Gorgeous dress that just does nothing for her–she doesn’t have the height for it, and it does not flatter her. A shame, because it was so beautiful on the runway. Also, at a Target event?????
