Emma Stone In Valentino – Elle’s 19th Annual Women In Hollywood Celebration

Some of you were losing faith in Emma Stone’s red-carpet style, but I’m sure you will fall in love with her all over again when you see what she wore to Elle’s Women in Hollywood Celebration, held at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills, California, last night.

She looked delightful wearing a Valentino Resort 2013 dress.

Her bright pink chiffon dress with white collar and cuffs is an adorable look for the young actress.

Ferragamo houndstooth pumps add an interesting contrast to her bubblegum-pink dress, with a gold ring and black clutch accessorizing the look.

An updo with face-framing bangs and tendrils, plus a dark pink lip colour and Irene Neuwirth jewels provided the finishing touches.

Since yesterday I’ve been trying to figure out if I like this look or not. I love the dress paired with the shoes, I’m just not sure if I like the dress on Emma.

great look! I love her makeup, flawless!

I really like this look and am surprised by all the dislikes! The dress is fun and beautiful on her. She pulls off the style and the color and took a further risk with the shoes, which I thought paid off. She looks great!

Idk, I think her style has become more and more ‘safe’.
This is just really obnoxious and twee.
She used to be really adventurous while she was discovering what she liked (and so was so much fun to watch on the red carpet) but what she likes seems to be very plain, straightforward things with collars and the occasional splash of colour.
She’s getting really stale and veering way too much into cutsey Taylor Swift-esque territory and I don’t like it. I hope she steps it up again for awards season.

Very cute, but something about the fit of the bodice bothers me. Love the shoes.

It’s just too “precious” on her honestly. I love those shoes though and I think it was smart to pair it with the dress. Her face looks very pretty as well.

Love the shoes, but this is almost too cutesy for her; it would have been better suited to Elle Fanning.

  8. Christine October 16, 2012 at 15:13 #

Great styling! the shoes perfect the look 🙂 she looks cute.

  9. Emmeline October 16, 2012 at 14:41 #

I think it’s adorable! I love her accessories, the shoes were a great touch.

Not thrilled about this look and not loving her new style a whole lot.

  11. Colleen October 16, 2012 at 14:33 #

The only thing I like about this is the shoes. I don’t like her as a blonde and am I the only one who thinks she has gotten really, really thin?

I can’t believe so many people dislike this!

This is one of her best looks ever for me.

    Absolutely love it.

I’m quite surprised too…I love it

    • Valerie October 16, 2012 at 20:25 #

+1 I really like it. the shoes are a counterweight for the “cutesy” dress.

    • towanda October 16, 2012 at 20:40 #

      +1 so lovely

    • lu October 17, 2012 at 18:08 #

      Agree. I really like it!

  13. dee October 16, 2012 at 13:42 #

I like it especially the shoes.

  14. Laura October 16, 2012 at 13:13 #

it looks like a jar of pepto bismol exploded over Wednesday Adams dress. I do like the shoes.

  15. Serena October 16, 2012 at 12:47 #

    Love this one head-to-toe.

  16. dunzoo October 16, 2012 at 12:40 #

I really dislike this look. I used to adore Emma but this year I’ve found her style generally boring and forgettalbe. I don’t like her hair here, I think that the dress looks cheap, unflattering and is an awful colour, especialy on her. I am praying for a style comeback, because her 2012 pales in comparison to her 2011.
    Her clutch is Valentino.

  20. Anna October 16, 2012 at 11:44 #

Actually this just further makes me lose faith in Emma’s red carpet-style.

She’s too old for this look. It’s like catholic school girl crossed with Barbie.

The only good things are her hair and makeup.

    • Nat39 October 16, 2012 at 20:42 #

AMEN. This is way too school girl uniform and I don’t like hair and makeup either.

  21. nokia October 16, 2012 at 10:45 #

love this look FC !I was surprised by the comments, thought people will like this look.

  22. Yeliz October 16, 2012 at 10:13 #

I love this from head to toe. Emma was my best dressed of the night.

Me too! I only wish she’d go back to red hair and no bangs, otherwise this looks is perfect 🙂

  23. Beta October 16, 2012 at 10:07 #

Love the kitten heels the model is wearing 🙂 im ecstatic for the return of the kitten heel 🙂

  24. Mick October 16, 2012 at 09:53 #

Too twee. I like collar dresses, but the combo with the bubblegum color is too much, too girlie. I love the shoes and the hair, though.

  25. Anne g October 16, 2012 at 09:52 #

She looks cute but i love the shoes.
IF you think she’s tacky, wait to see Lea michele.

  26. TL October 16, 2012 at 09:29 #

The only thing I like is the shoes.

Hate the Bright pink color, and I’m not a fan of straight bangs + updo hairstyle.

  27. Liz October 16, 2012 at 09:13 #

I think this look is dreadful. It’s so tacky and has way too much going on. She should have gone with simpler shoes or just avoided wearing that horrible dress altogether.

  28. Rash October 16, 2012 at 09:07 #

I on fence about this, its a very schoolish look and looks plain without the belt.
Though i like her Ferragamo houndstooth pumps

  29. bm October 16, 2012 at 09:06 #

    I don’t like it.
Maybe the wrinkles and the black clutch.
