Miley Cyrus made a guest appearance on ‘The Tonight Show With Jay Leno’ which is taped in LA on Friday.
The singer/actress, who turns 20 next month, talked about many things including Liam Hemsworth’s proposal and her guest star appearance in ‘Two And A Half Men’ which will air on October 18.
I’m sure Jay Leno didn’t quite know where to look as Miley wore a very daring bustier from the Anthony Vaccarello Fall 2012 collection.
The edgy navy and black bustier top was paired with a high-waisted vintage Moschino skirt with a city skyline-print.
Adding an extra kick to her look, Miley wore bright red Brian Atwood pumps.
Her controversial boyish pixie cut (which I love btw) and a pink pout completed the daring look.
Love or loathe?

I think these items don’t go together. If she would stick to the Anthony Vaccarello skirt, it would look better. If would pair the Moschino skirt with some other top, it would look better. And the shoes are completely wrong.
But most importantly it must’ve been very uncomfortable for HER – the bustier, the high waist and tight long skirt, ugh.
I kinda like it!
Me too. She pulled it off IMO.
My exact thought! She pulls it off.
I love the top and the skirt but I’m not sure of the combo, but it works on her!
Loathe! Don’t like the top, it’s too revealing (and tacky) for a talk show.
Loathe. Tacky as hell.
Great skirt, though.
Yup, pretty much.
The bustier is a bit too daring for my liking, but the skirt is plain ridiculous. Totally hate it.
I can’t make anything out of the look. The upper half was left so much uncovered and the lower half was covered as much as possible with a wrong choice of shoe. The only thing adorable is she neck up.
The proportions seem off and is the skyline of her skirt creased or is that just bad lighting? The top would be event appropriate for a concert or performance. The skirt would be interesting with a different top. The whole thing together is a mess of event inappropriate eh.
LOVE!
I actually think she looks great. She is young and good looking, with an amazing figure. If you can’t have fun with such looks in your teens, when can you?
I agree that it might not be the best styling ever – but overall she looks great. Happy and confident!
I surprisingly like this pairing! Unfortunately I think some simple black Pigalles would have worked better in this case due to the daring nature of her bustier. But kudos to her for going the unexpected route with the skirt!
Loathe! Every time I see her I keep thinking when is she going to dress age appropriate….of represent her age appropriately. What’s her point?
love the look completely (a little peeved by the clunkiness of the shoes but I can get over it) but it’s not for a sit-down talk show. Maybe the VMAs or something like that, not here.
I absolutely hate her posture, she doesn’t do this combo justice. However i LOVE the skirt.
Poor girl cannot get it right one bit… can she?!
I like the edge of this look, she’s really taking a new direction these days. Although I agree it might not be very event-appropriate.
Loathe. She looks tacky.
I actually like the top (though I do find it inappropriate for a TV appearance), just not with that skirt. If she stuck with the runway look, it would have been perfect. The shoes are just terrible. And I, too, like her hair – I just think she is trying too hard to be “edgy”.
I like it!
as cruel as it will be to say it, personally i think she looks like trailer trash in this outfit.
A mess and a half.
She has small breasts so I can live with the bustier.
But that dress? The print is ugly and it is way too tight. Miley is bursting out of it and she is a thin girl to begin with.
The heels are not helping her cause either.
Put it away! Don’t like the shoes and the top is not appropriate for a tv appearance. Love her hair like this though
Too bad she didn’t go with the runway look.
Dreadful.
Horrible!
I kinda like it! she looks great!
Love it from the neck up!
Maybe she’s learning. I’m quite warm at her right now. I learn that sometimes people with edgier appearance often have nicer personality. Maybe she’s changing for the better goods.
Loathe. I like her hair actually, but the top and skirt seemed so ill-fitted. The red pumps made the whole look even worse. What’s lacking here is taste and Miley’s sophistication. She has face and spirit of a girl who works happily at the mall – a Forever 21 store perhaps.
How about no.
I love this look. Step it up once in awhile. She looks hot.
Sorry but this is just one of the worst looks so far this year. Loathe.
don’t really understand what she’s going for here. i’m 20 and personally, I would feel so weird wearing that bustier while being interviewed by some older man…eek i just think it’s so weird. i understand that she’s young but c’mon
I think the whole combination is great, right down to the color choice for the shoes. The Vaccarello top ties in nicely as it resembles the look of buildings and pulls that same pattern from the skirt. However, it is my belief the Vaccarello is designed incorrectly – it could have the same look and feel but not so skimpy. Something is definitely lacking in the design. It does not look good on the model in the photo above either. I do not believe it would look good, or feel good, on any woman and that cannot be blamed on Miley – only the designer.
Loathe. There’s just too much going on in this outfit and I think the pieces don’t match.
