La La Anthony joined Ciara on the red carpet at the Paradise Theater in New York City on Saturday night for BET’s Black Girls Rock 2012.
She wore a luxe green devoré-velvet mini dress from the Balmain Pre-Fall 2012 collection.
The mini dress not only had peaked, padded shoulders but also a high neckline.
Opting for minimal accessories, La La added an emerald ring and studded diamond earrings.
Christian Louboutin ‘Pigalle’ black pumps, a quiffed updo and kohl-rimmed eyes completed her look.

come on ladies!! stop wearing shoes that don’t fit on the red carpet! wearing shoes two sizes bigger just looks dumb on red carpet.

Without any golden accessories, this dress really falls flat. Plus I think it fits better on leaner figures. On someone so curvy and short as La La Anthony it became just another little dress. The glamour from the look book is missing.
I agree with you, this dress needs statement accessories and small breasts.
I didn’t liked Ciara’s look and don’t like La La’s look either.
Whatever the angle of the picture, this look is very unflattering for her bust and shoulders.
This is a big mess!
Forgettable.
She doesn’t have enough edge to pull this look off. Rhianna, Cassie, Christina Ricci, Kristen Stewart, or even Evan Rachel Wood could have done this dress justice!
Too tight, too short and I can’t ignore the fact that her shoes are two sizes bigger than her. Please don’t tell me she couldn’t find some Pigalle that fit her. It’s not like they were the most exclusive shoes.
So tacky. And unflattering. And she thinks she looks super hot. She does not.
The fit is unflattering.
We don’t need to bring back the ’80s. AT ALL.
