Kate Hudson stunned as she made her way down the red carpet for the amfAR 3rd Annual Inspiration Gala at Milk Studios in Los Angeles, California, yesterday evening.
The actress just gets better and better in my book, as she looked sensational wearing a Prabal Gurung Resort 2013 gown.
Her red gown featuring a plunging V-neck and sculptural cut-out detail at the shoulders is one of the best looks of the year.
A gold necklace and a black-and-gold studded clutch accessorized her look.
Shimmering eyes, glossy lips and a wavy ponytail provided the finishing touches.

Divergent opinion here …. While I do not question Kate’s body doing full justice to this dress, I think the styling cheapens it. The back of her hair is horrendous, and I find the necklace quite tacky as well. Clutch is nothing great. I think I’d be on board if I could get rid of he necklace and never see a side or back shot of the hair.
I love how we as human beings have such divergent tastes, because for my the necklace STUNS. The hair, while it can be said to look “messy” is more “artful” to me.
I have to agree with Lara, the necklace is a perfect addition and the hairstyle is executed very tastefully.

Oh wow. I made a comment a while back on a red dress post, that it’s hard to pull off a red dress & look as good as Scarlett at the Golden Globes.

Agreed. I LOATHE pony tails with formal wear. Pony tails are for the gym and the mall. End of story.
The necklace wasn’t need and not totally loving the back of the ponytail but she does really good overall especially front on.

That dress is breathtaking and Kate does it justice, but the clutch and necklace don’t belong. Also, not liking her messy hairdos. An elegant hairstyle would have complimented this dress better. I give it a 9/10.

I think this, along with Kate’s Atelier Versace at the Venice Film Festival, are worthy BDOTY candidates. I also think that Kate is a worthy candidate for teh “Stella Got Her Groove Back” award. She has been, as FC put, getting better and better.

I don’t like her nor her style so there goes half of my judgment on anything she wears. That said I think there’s too much boobage going on for my taste, plus I’m not a big fan of her clutch, necklace and back hair.
This is just too revealing. I like the color and the cold-shoulder style but not that neckline! The clutch doesn’t go and the hair is too messy for my taste.
LOL I realize I’m commenting way late on this, but I’m so obsessed with this site!
