Chanel has thrown another soiree, this time for the ‘Chanel: The Little Black Jacket’ private viewing held at the Saatchi Gallery in London yesterday evening.
Chloe Moretz: The teen actress did don a little black Chanel jacket from the Resort 2013 collection which she styled with leather leggings and an ivory top with bell-shaped sleeves. The most interesting part of her look was her green ombre Chanel Fall 2012 crystal-encrusted ankle boots with a cut-out detail.
Poppy Delevingne: The socialite opted for some playful cat ears with her Chanel Fall 2012 sheer dress with multi-coloured leather appliqués. In a further attempt to add an edge to her look, she wore black Dsquared² ankle boots and carried a green velvet Chanel shoulder bag.
Alice Dellal: The most unlikely Chanel muse opted for a black-and-white Chanel Spring 2009 Couture look with a pop of red thanks to her bold lip colour and her Olympia Le Tan clutch.
Noomi Rapace: The actress also selected a look from the Chanel Pre-Fall 2012 collection which consisted of a tweed jacket and gold jeans. I wonder how she got past security with her Prada bag. Maybe they were distracted by her odd headpiece which is actually a hair net.
Stella Tennant: The British model, who regularly walks in Chanel shows, wore a Chanel LBD with gold embroidery from the Pre-Fall 2012 collection with gold peep-toe ankle-strap heels.
Anna Mouglalis: The French actress and Chanel ambassador opted for a little white Chanel jacket which she wore with a sheer lace skirt. An obligatory Chanel bag and black pumps completed her look.

The overall impression is way better than the joaillerie event. Anna Mouglalis and Stella Tenant are my favourites.

I am laughing so hard at the hair net: why would anyone do that?!
Other than that, this red carpet is less lackluster than the previous Chanel one from earlier this week, I more or less like all the outfits

This is 100x better than the last event. Chloe & Anna M look best from this bunch but for some reason I’m still getting a “meh” from all the recent Chanel events.
my favorite is poppy delevingne, i like the cat ears, too bad she wore this awful fake orange tan.
This is pretty bad. I can only give Stella Tennant a pass. Chloe looks tacky ott and mature, Poppy and Alice – trashy, Noomi’s ensemble isn’t working well not to mention the ridiculous hair net and the oversized bag, and Anna looks dull.
Looking at this lot I now know why I don’t wear Chanel. It costs a lot of money too look this hideous.
Poppy, Stella and Anna look great. What was Noomi Rapace thinking when she chose everything she wears? She looks dresses for a daytime event and the accessories… no, no, no!
I like Poppy, Anna and Stella Tennant’s looks the best.
The only one I like here is Anna – chic, clean, beutiful.
Alice’s clutch is by Olympia Le Tan – “Marijuana problems”. Keeping it classy as per usual.
thanks I thought it was Olympia Le Tan, but was conflicted thinking she must have carried one of her sisters clutches, but couldn’t find it.
I figured the same, but then I saw a photo of the back of the clutch and it has the signature Le Tan numbers (/16) on the back.

YUCK – they’re all trying so hard to be fashionable and stand out. They mostly look ridiculous. Which is the opposite of a Chanel woman…
I…don’t like any of them. Not surprising. Chanel is one of my least favorite designers–I feel like their aesthetic is very overrated.
