Here are the rest of the looks from yesterday evening’s amfAR’s Inspiration Gala, held at Milk Studios in California.
Kristin Davis: You pretty much know what you’re going to get from a Kristin Davis look: a pretty fit-and-flare dress. It’s a formula which has worked so well for her in the past and this vintage Lanvin midnight-blue dress with an ivory slash across the bodice proves that the formula still works. Navy Christian Louboutin sandals and a silver clutch completed her look.
Octavia Spencer: Award season may be over, but Octavia’s love for Tadashi Shoji continues. The Oscar-winning actress looked stunning wearing a custom black-and-nude lace-embroidered dress with an on-trend peplum detail. Black accessories and silver jewels completed her look.
Rumer Willis: The actress donned a cute Alice + Olivia dress with a nude bodice decorated with black sequins and a poufy A-line skirt. Black glitter YSL Tribute sandals and a silver clutch with crystal embellishments accessorized her look. I wish Rumer had opted for softer makeup for this look. The heavy kohl-rimmed eyes and bright red lips don’t work for me with this dainty look.

Not liking any of these. I’m tired of seeing the same sweet fit-and-flare silhouette on Kristin – she needs to start opting for a bit more mature sexier silhouettes. The dress on Octavia is extremely widening, she doesn’t need to look any wider, and Rumer makes it look so tacky with that hair and makeup, not to mention that the dress looks more like a girl’s dance costume.
I agree with you, completely.
+2. Strike 3…they are out.
kristin looks good but it is becoming a tad predictable although the formula works well a little spicing up would be great.
octavia nice but nothing special, i wish she would let her hair down.
rumer wow, it looks as if she is trying too hard to be like miley back when she was cute and girly.
Kristin and Octavia look OK, but I don’t like Rumer’s look at all.
Not liking all three looks.
I love Kristen’s look here, even though I get tired of the fit and flare silhouett sometimes. Here, it totally works. Whilst I love the Octavia/Shoji pairing, this dress wasn’t one of her best looks. And Rumer…I almost have no words for her. So bad.
